Taco Bell — Restaurant in Knoxville

I never post reviews, but this has happened enough times now that it's worth letting others know. Basically: don't even think about ordering from here if it's late. They'll say they're closed and refuse service, demanding you refund your own mobile order via support. Don't expect that refund for multiple days.

Both Google and the TB app lists this place as being open until 2AM. Multiple times now, I've placed a mobile order around midnight after I've been on the way home from working in the evening and were told they were closed after getting to the speaker. I'm the only one in line; no one else there. Once, I was just outright told they simply decided to close and I would have to go through the app and cancel my order via support, and tonight I was told that the person I spoke to was the only one there and the rest of the staff left...despite clearly seeing multiple people inside as I pulled up to the window?

Like...it's a taco bell. This is so not that serious, but look at the other poor reviews for this specific location before you decide to order here. More importantly: don't even consider ordering here if it's later at night. Even if it's 2 hours to close. The app refunds you within 2-3 business days, so while it's not a ton of cash, expect to not see that $20 bucks again for a few days because staff simply decides to not work and demands you to refund your order yourself. Even when we've tried ordering from here during the day, the orders are never 100% correct - missing items and etc. Place just needs an entire staffing overhaul, manager and all, or...

UPDATE... They have gotten no better. Ordered a Chalupa Supreme 4.19 and as you can see from the pic, they give bare minimums. The show it the cheese and tomatoes and give it 1 glop of sour cream on o spot. How does this place stay busy??? When I worked for Taco Bell 40 years ago we used real hamburger that we cooked and drained, real pinto beans we pressure cooked. We fried all shells and cut everything up from scratch. Now everything is premade and beans are dehydrated and rehydrated. Shells are no longer cooked at store. Everything is ordered precooked and delivered. There is no pride nor quality, its all about profit. PRIOR VISIT... There is NO consistency at this location. Some days you get a nice portion but most you get a major rip off. Today we ordered the 5.00 steak burrito and it was all tostada and very little filling. The dozen tacos were no different. They showed the shell the meat about 1/4 inch deep...no kidding. Then minimal lettuce and then showed it the cheese. There were 4-10 shreds of cheese per taco. The tacos were sooo thin and empty, they could not have been 3/8" thick at the bottom and half way up to the top of the shell. The shell looked empty it was so thin that it was damn near touching each other like a piece of paper. I have tried calling for the past hour and the phone never gets picked up. VERY...

I'm only giving it a two because the drive-thruhic was amazing the other three men that were there were loud argumentative rude as hell and made the experience garbage they were back in the Drive-Thru woman's food in the wrong order and laughing about it and then the younger gentleman and the black gentleman were laughing when she would hand out the wrong orders and then when people would come back in they would say oh she's new she don't know what she's doing we're sorry little did they know I was 5 feet from the front counter which they were refusing to do any work at the only one that was actually working was the drive-thru woman and if I was her I would have told him to kick rocks with an open-toed shoe because I've been in and out of this location for the last 7-6 months randomly and the only person that I ever seen giving great customer service when I'm in there is the drive-thru lady with the glasses she works so hard I couldn't even get her name. You need to give her a round of applause and a raise because she is the only one with great customer service a smile and a general good personality and I'm talking about the location right down from what used to be East Towne Mall behind the...
