Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhat a wonderful surprise. This place was! As a person who can't eat dairy, I stumbled into a wonderful situation. They have a few kinds of non-dairy ice creams as well as many other ice creams that are homemade and fantastic. It's a nice change of pace to have someone making homemade ice cream compared to the way overblown social experience that Cruz farms is downtown. The same goes for the other ice cream offerings, kill wins, etc. All of it is processed and over advertised junk. Except for Phoenix pharmacy, the only place I trust now is sugar Queen creamery. They have cookies and cream with peanut butter and even though I can't eat wheat, It was delicious and I tasted a little bit. The strawberry dairy-free is about the best I've ever had. We really loved the other offerings and if we could eat those pretzels we would eat All of them. Lol The people here were really nice and I couldn't believe how busy they were but how fast it went. They really crank it out and with a smile too. This is a rare business and I hope that they keep this up because it looks like it's a hit so far. Cheers and thank you so much to these people for bringing dairy-free to South Knoxville. Oh and one last suggestion... If you could meet up with Mama C's down Chapman highway and get some of her gluten-free products you guys could mash up some of the best gluten-free and dairy-free ice cream in East Tennessee! Their food is the best gluten-free food in the area and if you don't believe me, go...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went out for ice cream and treated myself to a hot fudge sundae with a cherry on top. What I got was a hot fudge sundae⦠with about one-third of a cherry. It looked suspiciously like someone had taken a test bite (though Iām sure that wasnāt the case).
The sundae itself looked nice, and the server was friendly, but the missing cherry fraction was a bit of a letdown. For the price, I was hoping for the full ācherry on topā experience ā because as we all know, thatās the best part!
Despite my āfraction-of-a-cherryā adventure, Iāll be back to try again ā because hope (and hot fudge) springs eternal. Next time, Iām crossing my fingers for the full cherry experience⦠preferably 100% intact!
In response**
Thanks for your response! I understand cherries might be inexpensive on their own, but when Iām paying $7 for a hot fudge sundae the cherry shouldāve been caught when it was taken out of the jar, I expect the whole sundae experience ā including a complete cherry on top ā without having to ask. Itās part of the presentation and value Iām paying for.
Looking forward to enjoying a fully loaded...
