osaka hibachi & sushi buffet — Restaurant in Knoxville

I don't understand why this place has to be so dark and dingy inside. Looks like they never sweep off the ceiling and that's why stuff will fall off it onto your table. I stopped by there today to grab a bite of lunch after church, but now I wish I had never stepped foot in this building and I will not go back until it is completely cleaned up it's disgusting. Got my first plate, I had some rice General Tso's chicken and chicken and broccoli. Needless to say the broccoli was so hard you could barely cut it with your fork. Why don't folks cook their broccoli better. The General Tso's chicken was very tough it was overcooked. I sent that to the side went and got me a second plate with a little bowl of ice cream. This time when I got the chicken and broccoli there was only maybe 12 of broccoli and the whole pan and the rest of it was all chicken, which I guess is okay because then I didn't have to deal with raw broccoli. But sat back down at my table started to reach down to pick up my spoon to take a bite of the ice cream and low and behold, a freaking COCKROACH is crawling on my table. I was so upset it took me a minute or two to get someone's attention who worked there and he acted like it was no big deal. I told the table next to me I said guys please watch your table I said cuz there's a cockroach crawling on mine and the gentleman setting to my left looked over and he said oh my goodness yes there is. So I'm not the only one that's seen it needless to say I never paid a penny for what I did eat before I seen the cockroach. I also warned others that was coming into the restaurant to please watch their table for cockroaches. I could have been a butthead and really made a scene over this but I didn't but I am calling the Health Department this is ridiculous. Bathrooms are not in working order like they should be the place is dirty it needs cleaned up. Beware when you go there to eat watch for the Cockroaches and other debris falling from the ceiling...

I love this place!!!! Me, my son and my daughter are regulars!!! The food is yummy for the price the staff are ALWAYS welcoming especially when they see u often!!!! Don’t come here expecting the BEST food but the food is TASTY and the staff never lets ur drink get empty and they never make u feel rushed so if u sit there for hours because u have to wait until ur kids are done eating so u can eat they don’t make u feel like ur taking up space or inconveniencing them!!! It’s a nice little space if ur a local or just wanna get some food really fast or just got kids that really want to eat now!!! Also my kids love their I’m assuming kooliad!!! And I tried it and it’s really yummy honestly!!! I think they use fruit punch koolaid and it’s always perfect every time!!! Give it try coming from a local I live like 5 minutes from the place so I try to make it in there once a month to take one of my 2 kids on a one on one date!!!! I alternate which kid I take and leave the other with the baby sitter and they always make us feel welcomed!!! They won’t even let u clean ur kids mess up even know I insist on cleaning up my kids...

The food in this restaurant was by far the WORST Chinese & Japanese food I've ever had. This was the cheapest low budget quality of food. The food has absolutely no flavor, barely warm and some of the food was spoiled and sour. The Kimchi was sour and definitely spoiled, the egg rolls and spring rolls were mushy and soft and the filing in both was like canned baby food, all the soups were crusted over and looked like it had been sitting on the buffet for over a week, the ice cream had so much ice crystals and was completely freezer burnt. I could go on and on. This was my first and last time here. Do yourself a favor, save your money or go to McDonald's instead. This place absolutely sucks!!!!
