Typical bar atmosphere.
Lord John's tacos were amazing! Not a standard taco by any means. The shell was a cornmeal bread similar in shape to pita, but with a slight crunch on the outside and a soft bread like texture on the inside.
I had a chicken Lord Johns Taco. The chicken was cooked well and seasoned to taste. The veggies were cold and crisp.
They have a hot sauce that pairs nicely with this type of taco. It isn't very spicy, is based on vinegar, similar to a Louisiana style sauce. I would have liked to try some Pace hot sauce with this taco.
If you eat a little then only order one. Two was filling. Three tacos for those with a larger appetite. They are filling.
I can't say much about the bar aspect as we had water with our meal. The bar itself is small and quaint, with regulars that frequent.
