This is a review about an invasion of privacy and a creepy delivery driver, at a place of business that seems to not care if their delivery drivers acquire personal information from customer orders for creepy intentions despite the legality of such. This was my family’s go to pizza place until recently. Contacted the place of business before making this post. Long story short, ordered pizza, and the delivery guy privately contacted my fiancé’s phone off of our order number and was being very creepy. I contacted him and it seems as if this was his normal routine based on his response “I didn’t know this could be a potential lawsuit, and I won’t be doing this any more”... Despite the invasion of privacy and having other personal information on file I am no longer comfortable with them having, as I also have children I rather keep these creepy pizza delivery employees away from. They have not contacted me back as I was told, as the manager was too upset and didn’t know what to do when I first contacted him and was in a hurry to contact his boss. Apparently the potential lawsuit of such actions aren’t of concern to them, as I preferred just contacting them and wanting to hear that such things wouldn’t happen to anyone else. Terrible place. Terrible service. Terrible business operation. Won’t be returning there, and will update this with what course of action is taken, as it seems they are okay with their delivery drivers acquiring personal information from customer orders for...
Read moreDaughter wanted Pizza for her 16th birthday party. Not just pizza but a Hawaiian BBQ Chicken pizza from Papa Johns. So, we ordered one BBQ, one cheese and one sausage to be delivered at 12:15 PM. At 12:30 pm, no pizza so the wife called. The person who answered the phone told her that 12:15 pm is AFTER MIDNIGHT. Then he told her that his system showed it to be after midnight. She told him it was for PM not AM and that she had a confirmation email. She told him she would bring it down and show him that it was for PM, not AM and he hung up on her. SO, she went to the store. Granted it's only about a mile away, but still. We ordered delivery to have delivery. When she got to the store, Corey identified himself as the manager and told her he had her order up on the screen. When she tried to show him her email confirmation he told her to leave the store and never come back. NOT the first problem we've had with this store but one of the worst. We ended up going to the East side store and had absolutely NO problem getting the order right. From now on, when we want Papa John's it will have to come from the East side store. This will also be posted to Corporate and...
Read moreThe two pizzas we got (one was gluten-free crust) were delicious… well made with plenty of toppings. The service could have been better. I placed our order online three hours in advance. I arrived at the scheduled time to pick up my pizzas, and had received a text from Papa John’s a couple of minutes before I got there saying my order was ready for pickup. When I entered the store there were several customers waiting in the lobby, and lots of employees preparing pizzas, folding boxes and apparently looking for things to do to keep busy. But the woman at the cash register seemed confused about what she was doing (maybe she was a new employee?) and was beyond slow. I stood there for ten minutes while my prepaid pizzas sat getting cold. A manager should have noticed the backlog of customers standing around and helped get things moving. I’m hoping it was an isolated happening, and I plan to go there again and give them another chance. Again, the pizzas were...
