Although I ordered beef and chicken crispy tacos, mini burritos, and a few other dishes for takeout, nothing really impressed me about this restaurant. I'm surprised it received 4.5 stars from 208 reviews because I found it to be quite ordinary.

On the positive side, their website was easy to use, and the restaurant had plenty of parking. The service was also nice.

Visiting from Ohio. After stopping by a few other Mexican restaurants in the area, who were either closed Sundays, had an hour wait, or seemed unusually slow to be any good, we came across Doña Maria's. My dad and I both ordered combo plates, and the server was nice enough to allow us to substitute taquitos in the combo as an item, although it's not an option on the menu. Our favorite Mexican restaurant in La Canada. Food was constantly great every time. The fajitas always come sizzling hot and delicious on a hot plate. Burritos with rice and beans on the side. I like their tostada with shrimp - they make it as my special request. They welcome you with a basket of corn tortilla chips with salsa. Margarita is delicious and ice tea and sodas has free refills.
