La Cañada Thursday Club — Attraction in La Cañada Flintridge

There are so many positive things that I’d like to share about the La Cañada Thursday Club! I first toured the venue about 2 years ago and fell in love the moment I saw the courtyard. The beautiful big trees, the way the bright pink bougainvillea plants draped around the entrance gates, and the fountain with the beautiful teal Spanish tiles.. it was everything I could want and more! The garden out front is the perfect area to take photos with its shady green trees. My absolute favorite detail are the beautiful deep teal doors! Another perfect area for photos. The ballroom is equally beautiful! While the space does hold up to 130 people, it’s the perfect place for an intimate celebration and I loved that there was a tearoom area for our Photo Booth and dessert/coffee area. We absolutely loved our wedding! We loved working with Ani. You can truly tell that she enjoys doing what she does because she showed us so much care during the planning process, she always made us laugh, always checked in to ask how we were doing/feeling. She was professional and showed great attention to detail, made sure to answer any question we had and most importantly made sure we were happy! She worked well with our wedding coordinator and vendors and worked alongside Jose (venue maintenance worker). Ani even left us the sweetest message on our audio guest book (After the Tone). I’m so happy to have her voice recorded in our messages, she helped make our day so special and I will always thank her. Everything flowed so seamlessly! I also have to give praise to Jose, who does the maintenance and help around the venue. The day before our wedding we were able to access the venue to set up, drop off items, and Jose was there helping our family, answering questions. Even the day of the wedding Jose was there to step in and help and would check in our our guests as well! Our guests raved on how beautiful the venue and how helpful the staff was. We truly feel so blessed to have been able to celebrate our special day at the La Cañada Thursday Club. I wish I could relive our wedding day all over again, you could just feel the presence of so much love in the room. Thank you so much to Ani & Jose for making our wedding so beautiful...

I had my wedding at the Thursday Club in March and I have so many wonderful things to say about this venue and Chris and Betty that it’s hard to know where to begin!

When I first visited the Thursday Club during one of their open houses, I was instantly in love. Aesthetically, the venue is gorgeous. The indoor and outdoor space at the Thursday Club is full of charm, romance, and elegance. I chose to have my ceremony outdoors, in front of the large tree. With the high walls surrounding the courtyard, it made for an intimate and private ceremony with virtually no sound pollution from the nearby streets. One of the reasons I chose this venue is that it was all relatively self-contained and close together. The ceremony site, cocktail hour area and reception were all just a few steps from each other making it convenient for the guests while still allowing for different atmospheres at once (loud music and dancing in the reception area and the outdoor cocktail area where guests could talk).

Aside from the beauty of this venue, talking to Chris and Betty is really what sealed the deal on selecting this venue for my wedding. Chris and Betty are professional, honest, hard-working, and they know everything there is to know about making a wedding run smoothly and beautifully. They made the entire process simple, straightforward, and painless. I highly recommend utilizing their rental services, especially the bar service. They allow you to bring your own alcohol as long as you use their bartenders. The servers and bartenders were friendly, fun, and efficient. They provided a list of preferred vendors which I used to hire all of my vendors. This made it seamless as each of the vendors had experience setting up and working at this particular venue.

My wedding was a dream come true and I am extremely grateful that Chris and Betty took such care and diligence in ensuring my husband and I were stress-free and happy. I cannot recommend this...

We just had our wedding celebration at the Thursday Club and we’re so happy we chose this venue for so many reasons! After looking around at countless venues in the area, we were so pleased to stumble upon the La Canada Thursday Club! The actual location itself is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. It has lovely florals and greenery around the grounds, ample on-site parking, and a beautiful outdoor patio and ballroom that allow for so many different options/layouts for any event! It is such a beautiful, flexible, and affordable venue!!

We first visited the club during one of their open houses and were immediately taken not only with the beauty of the location but also with the staff, Chris and Betty! They were so warm and welcoming and really made us feel as though they wanted to help us achieve our own vision for the big day! Chris and Betty were so communicative and knowledgeable, and were able to provide us with great vendors recommendations and advice throughout the entire planning process. From the initial steps to day of layout, rentals, bar, and so much more, they really made the process as smooth and painless as possible! All of our rentals, bar, and staffing for bar/servers etc were handled directly through Betty and Chris and they worked hand in hand with our coordinator to ensure we had an amazing wedding day!
