Extremely poor customer service. We just got into our hotel and starving so we decided to walk right next door for convenience. We weren’t greeted and stood by the door for a few minutes before I walked over to the girls who were bartending and asked if it was self seating as there wasn’t a host table. The bartenders definitely noticed us enter (almost immediately as the bar is right in front of the entrance) and could probably tell that we have never been there before. I assumed it was self seating at this point so one of them could have spoken up and said welcome in and that it was self seating. So we walk outside to the patio to seat ourselves. We wait a few more minutes and no server comes out. My little son is thirsty so I walk back in to the bar area where I wait to ask if we can get menus and how we order food. Mind you, while I was waiting to ask my question, the one bartender I was in front is making a drink but the other just walks back and forth. She didn’t stop to ask at all what I needed. Just ignored. I’m informed that a server will be coming around. As the bartender is telling me that, a server (wearing turquoise color t-shirt) is standing on the side not doing anything. I assume at this point, now that she knows we are sitting outside, she’d grab menus and come out. I go back out to wait a few more minutes before we eventually leave because no one came out. This is ridiculously poor customer service for a place that was not busy. We got in around 4:30pm and there was no reason to wait around or have to navigate getting menus. It almost feels we were ignored intentionally. I am understanding of places that are busy, there’s a lot going on, and sometimes customers have to be more outspoken about what they need, but this wasn’t the case at all. It’s upsetting. Shoutout to the elderly couple who who said hello to us before...
Read moreThere were six of us and three had never been to TimeOut before. My sister recently had surgery on her foot so she had something to help her get around. It was pretty busy when we got there. We seen there were 2 tables that we could put together so we could all talk and hear each other. It was by the front entrance. A waitress politely let us know that they needed a free walk way where they would be going in and out of the kitchen with food orders. As we were making sure there wasn't anything in the way for them a different waitress came and said there was a place that would work better for us. We didn't think we were allowed to go back in that area because it said reserved. She not only gave us a better place to sit , she helped with moving the tables and chairs. She was an amazing waitress , there isn't many of them around these days. The food was great for most of us but my niece ordered a burger and it was not fully cooked , pretty red. It's one thing to have pink and that's fine for most but when I seen how it was cooked , it made me gag. She wasn't going to even say anything about it and just not eat it. She said she didn't want to be rude but something needed to be said about that raw burger. Our waitress agreed and took it back. My niece did get a new burger made but just took it home for her husband. After a few hours of wedding dress shopping for my daughter, it was a very nice place to come to eat. Just because one of us had an unfortunate experience with her burger and wasn't upset at all by it. We were all happy with everything else. The staff working and the cleanliness of the establishment makes people remember and will be...
Read moreWe were in town visiting and wanted to try something local. We were extremely disappointed with the place. Our server was absent most of the time, barely acknowledged us, we had to go up to the bar to ask for more drinks, for boxes, and for our check. We saw our server sitting down at a table without ever feeling the need to check on us, this was after 20 minutes of waiting. I ordered a burger and it was the driest burger I've ever had in my life, I knew how long it was going to be just to get our server to come over so I just lathered it in mustard and ate what I could. In the end we wished the bartender was our server because she was wonderful to her guests. After 20 minutes of waiting for our server to come back, we talked about walking out but with me being a former chef in the food service industry, we just couldn't. I got the check from the bar, paid, and left. Won't be back next time we're in town. Extremely...
