Dunkin' — Restaurant in La Crosse

I went in there the other day to get the new matcha latte with a friend of mine. It was the second day that had had it so we were very careful to say exactly what we wanted, one hot and one cold matcha latte and 2 bacon egg and cheese croissants. I pay with a online gift card that I had and get my receipt. We stand there waiting for our drinks when I take a look at my receipt because my friend says the employee said the wrong drink. They hand over a hot macchiato and I tell the person that we did not order that. Another person (who I can assume was the manager or had worked there longer) came over to help and asked to see the gift card. However it was already spent and I could not find it again. As I step off to the side to allow the people behind us to go while I look for it in my phone, the man sells the macchiato he had just made for us to the person (we were standing right there!) I tell them I can not find it and they acted like there was nothing else they could do about it, except the drinks were the same prices and they had already sold one of ours. I was fed up so we paid for the drinks we originally ordered and he even had to remake the hot macchiato for us. We get our drinks and food and take a seat. That’s when I find that instead of croissants we had bagels. It wouldn’t have been a big deal if everything else hadn’t had gone so wrong. I am appalled. And I am not one to write bad reviews or make a fuss about weird orders but I had to pay double just to get the drinks I wanted and a drink that I hated!...

This morning at 10:00 a.m. was the second time myself and my adult daughter had went to this Dunkin, as we live less than a block from them. Horrible both times. I understand the place just opened not long ago, but it seems very disorganized. First trip we both ordered paninis, the filling wasnt taken out and was frozen, so they had to substitute with avocado. Why or how avocado is greasy, I have no idea. 2 bites, both sandwiches went in the trash that was after waiting 20 mins to even get anything. This morning we walked up to the window. They had no personality at all. We ordered a sausage and egg croissant and a maple bacon cheese sandwich. Again horrible, the bacon was pepper and no maple and had a very gummy texture. The sausage was hard and nasty and both cheese had solidified. Again we drove a block so the food would still be warm when we ate it, yet it wasnt. The coffee was an iced pumpkin spice latte, the coffee was so strong as it tasted burnt. That's twice now we had a horrible wasted visit and wasted money, it all went in the trash.... save yourself some time amd money and get your breakfast at the Kwik Trip across the street. Get some workers that know what they are doing and have a personality. And maybe say THANK YOU OR YOURE WELCOME. NO MANNERS. Wont be back again...very sad, we had been very excited to have them pretty much in...

Wish I could give zero stars. Honestly, the coffees not bad and prices are reasonable, but EVERY TIME I come here, there's only ONE employee working! Literally doesn't matter what day or time of day I come in. There's only one employee and a line of people. I was told that after 4:00 due to low business only one worker is there so I've been going much before then (like noon to 3:00) but it doesn't make a difference as the same thing always accrues. On top of it, the ONE worker is always busy which I don't mind waiting for them to finish as again their the only ONE. But then as they BEGIN to TAKE my order, a drive up comes through the drive through and the worker IGNORES me in the middle of my order and starts to take their order, then proceeds to finish helping them before finishing with my order. And God forbid someone else drives up cause now my should've been 10 min at most order has turned into a 30 min wait to even FINISH TAKING my order!! When I asked why, the worker said they are TOLD to help DRIVE THROUGH orders FIRST no matter what!!!! Overall great place if your willing to order only going through the drive through or wait 30min to an hour for one fricken drink! Absolutely horrible business modo DD! Never coming back unless you change the way you treat your walk in...
