Old Style Inn — Restaurant in La Crosse

Second time coming here, didn't disappoint. Neighborhood type of bar/pub. Mike was running the place and he recommended the wings, they where huge and amazing. Tried two sauces, the Garlic Parmesan and the White Hot. Both where excellent, the white hot was very tasty, but definitely got hot a few seconds after dipping. So good though. The Garlic Parmesan very good and seasoned perfectly. The Fries, just how I like them, fresh cut and perfectly cooked and seasoned just right.. Second experience was great, definitely coming back for a round three. Side note, Mike was the third associate I have encountered here, all where great. Outgoing, friendly and professional. Lily, Alex, and now Mike for the win! Thanks for the hospitality. Chicago Dave The wings are huge!!! Quarter for size comparison, couldn't eat them...

Got my bill at old style and noticed I was charged for an extra beer and shot, brought it to Treys attention and was told rudely to just subtract 8.50, I laughed and said didn't know I would have to do math today, so he rudely said well 8 minus 54 is 46, my bill was 54.24 minus 8.50 made it 45.74. I am a bartender and I make mistakes, I would have apologized and re did the bill. I felt belittled and won't go there again, trust me I ain't the only one, word around town is the reason no one goes there is because of Trey, he's a pompous prick! Anyways come to Kramers Bar and Grill, I promise I won't make you figure out your own bill, food and service is great, we treat you as a customer...

We used to live in La Crosse, and we hardly make it back. For "old times sake", we stopped in for curds and a small bfast. There needs to be one more person on staff during those busy times for guest satisfaction, and it also helps the two that were busting ass working. Was told there was a reader for pull tabs, but didn't know I needed a code for a bigger winner. The guy playing one of the machines was more of a help than anything. Make sure you have the code for larger payouts accessible for staff, especially when it's busy. Also, the lady working did the best she could w how busy it was, but more guests would be more understanding if there was a little bit more...
