We wanted to sell a coin collection. When we visited, the shop was recovering from a fire next door, and they were working on folding tables with no display cases or any other shop furnishings. They were very professional in spite of that challenge.
Tony was happy to have us walk in for a meeting without an appointment, and even helped us carry things from the car. He sat right down to examine every piece in the collection carefully, explaining what we had. We had expected most of the collection to be worth just the metal, but he had some happy surprises for us and explained each piece to us. Tony struck us as honest, extremely knowledgeable, and very efficient. We were very happy with the sale and would recommend Tony and River City Gold & Silver.

They only counted the coins and gave me spot. Even though I paid on the average, $30.00 a coin for the Morgans they only paid spot, about $16.00. They are making double what they gave me. I expected them to be honest... I even had Carson City coin, forget a fair price. Just my warning to you. I needed the money so I...
