Our group of six came through during lunch hour while the restaurant was very busy. We understand that we have a big family and having multiple separate orders can be confusing, especially during rush hour. I get this, and appreciate the employees' patience with us. The food quality was also up to expectations. However, the order taker seemed to not be paying attention, because she asked us multiple times to repeat ourselves. And then when we got our food there were a number of things wrong with our orders that were supposed to have already been clarified. I.e. she seemed to think that my sister shouldn't get a small fry and large drink, but should instead do a medium meal. This had already been ordered, so I'm not sure why she still tried to give my sister a medium fry and drink at the window. Another sister ordered her sandwich with avacado slices. When the lady confirmed her order at the window (without the special request), my sister told her again. Instead of remaking the sandwich which is what we were told they were doing, they gave the avacado on the side. The sister was also given a diet coke instead of the Dr pepper she ordered. After all of this confusion and after I had already paid for my meal, we were told we had been given everything even though I had not yet received my food or drink. When I told them what I was missing, we were told that we'd already been given it. I over heard one manager say to the order taker, "It's okay, honey. You're doing a great job. We'll just have to give them another one." Everything up to this point was already extremely frustrating, but we continued to be polite and give them the benefit of the doubt - understanding that they were busy. But after all of this, to be underhandedly accused of dishonesty and stealing, my patience met it's limit. I worked in fast food. I know what it is to deal with rude and dishonest customers. You do NOT accused customers of lying to their face unless you have clear (I.e. written) evidence - the customer is always right! What do you expect me to find in the order I'm finally given but my meal doubled - two fries and two sandwiches. THEY were the ones who did not give me my food, made the meal again when they didn't have to, and then gave me double... I am posting pictures of my receipt and what I got to show that they...
Read moreI went in to pick up a mobile order. I was at the counter waiting for the teenage boy with long hair to slowly help the women in front of me. When he finished he didn't acknowledge me at all and started putting other orders on the counter. I waited patiently until he returned to the register and when he did he just sat there looking at me awkwardly. Since the good old, 'hello sir, can i take your order?' wasn't in his wheelhouse, I decided to break the ice. I said, "The remodel that was done on the building turned out very nice." No reaction, just an awkward stare. After about 30 more seconds the guy in line behind me says, "This generation is lost. I'm worried about our future when these kids get to be in charge." I agreed and then just told the kid, I was there to pick up a mobile order. About 10 minutes later my order was at the counter, I grabbed it and noticed the name on his nametag was Grace. He was actually friendly to me now and told me to have a nice night. (I think the change was due to the fact that the manager had walked up and was witnessing the interaction) Look, I understand if your struggling with your identity but don't have a grumpy attitude while working with the public. There have been countless times when I have felt like garbage but had to put my happy hat on when dealing with customers. It's part of the job that you signed up for. If no, then you need to find a job that doesnt require you to interact...
Read moreWhen you say you serve breakfast until 10:30am, you should serve it until 10:30am. When I call because the online ordering wouldn't work and I only had 5 minutes to get it ordered. I get there at 10:27am and am told they are out of breakfast. I said I wished they had told me that on the phone a couple minutes ago. Cashier says Oh, if you made arrangements and starts to go back and ask someone. I was not happy by that time and told him to forget it. I was extremely disappointed with this entire experience at La Grande Wendy's from the online not working, to the not serving breakfast until the correct time. The gentleman on the phone did say that they were down a grill because one was broken and he couldn't do breakfast and lunch at the same time. I made sure I was there on time so that is not my problem. Normally I have no complaints with this Wendy's. The food is usually good, the service is usually impeccable and the dollar value is worth the product. I have already stopped going to almost every other fast food restaurant in this town because of poor service. I really hope that I don't have to add this Wendy's to the list of will not give them my money. The staff is usually great and I do want to...
