Gustavo's Mexican Grill — Restaurant in La Grange

We're regular customers at this restaurant. We've never experienced poor service or substandard food. I read the negative comments posted here by others and wonder if they've actually been to this restaurant.

The menu is quite similar to that of many other Mexican restaurants in the area.

Food quality is always good, service prompt and courteous and portions generous. Full bar service is offered. Prices are similar to those at similar venues, maybe slightly higher, but this facility is a little nicer too.

Although English is not the native language of most of the stuff, everyone is relatively fluent in English and communication is not a problem.

Family friendly, great place to bring the kids.

The atmosphere is pleasant, the entire facility, including restrooms is clean and well maintained. Convenient free parking is provided and everything is fully accessable to people with limited mobility.

In addition to the main indoor dining room an additional indoor dining area is available with a front wall that is opened in nice weather to provide the benefits of outdoor dining while under a roof.

We've been here at times when they're full and there is a wait but they accommodated the crowd well. Wait times were not excessive.

Flexible seating allows them to accommodate groups of various sizes.

This facility is located in a shopping complex and is not very conspicuous from the main thoroughfare but can be easily found using Google Maps. It's only a few blocks South of I-71 exit 22 in LaGrange, KY.

Nov 2022; went for a late lunch about 3:00 in the afternoon. Seated immediately and service was great at first, got our drinks and our order placed but when it came out it was missing the add-on piece of fish to the seafood plate, told the server delivering and he went back to the kitchen for remainder of order. After approximate 8 to 10 minutes we asked the delivery server about the remainder of our order, we had not seen our server since placing our order. It did come out a couple minutes later and he advised it would be taken off of her bill. I was able to finally catch the eye of our original server and asked for our bill. Past experience has always been really great, and this little issue in service was not that bad overall. I recommend Gustavo's to anyone looking for a good Mexican restaurant.

My fiancé and I spent the night in town before heading to the Renaissance Fair and we decided to give Gustavos a try. We were a little nervous the wait would be long when we first arrived, but we were seating almost as soon as we walked in the door. Our waiter Luis was very attentive and fast. When we placed our drink orders it was almost like he had them waiting behind the wall, because he was gone what seemed like 30 seconds and then he was ready to take our order.
