California Fish Grill — Restaurant in La Habra

Horrible. Been to several other California Fish Grills and loved it every time. Was happy when this location opened. Ordered for 6 people bill was over $90. Very limited seating inside so we sat outside. Employees were unable to turn on heaters and then said they would come back with assistance and they never came back. Food came out with 4 of the 6 orders. Employee said they would come back with the other 2 orders. About 5 minutes later 1 other order came out. Waited 20 minutes and still missing 1 order. Asked employee who said they would bring other order right out. Waited 10 minutes and still no missing order. Went inside and asked about missing order and they said they would bring it out. Waited another 10 minutes and still no food. Went back inside and spoke to Employee who stated they don't know what happened and they would remake the order. Waited another 10-15 minutes and still no order. Had to talk to employee again and after another wait finally got missing food. Took over 70 minutes to get the food. Absolutely horrible. I know they just opened but still no excuse for such terrible service. I will go to other California Fish Grills but definitely not this location. Highly disappointed and definitely do not recommend...

So I went in made my order. I ordered 3 shrimp trio and brussel sprouts as extra side. So the fact they send you a text saying your food ready then still say your order not ready and it’s just sitting there is unprofessional. Anyways I let that slide then I didn’t get utensils and napkins which was laughed about when asked for it. I was going to leave 5 stars for food being delicious but to my surprise the Fried Shrimp had a TON of black half blonde HAIRS and it just made me sick to my stomach every bite I took hair hair and hairs. I didn’t even eat the rest of my plate which made me feel bad cause I hate wasting food and so expensive $35 dollars plus I left them a tip before hand. THIS was By far the WORSEST CALIFORNIA FISH GRILL ESTABLISHMENT AT THIS SPECIFIC LOCATION LA HABRA CA. 🤢🤮 I WANT NIKO NIKO sushi BACK THEY WHERE THE BEST at that location that fish grill took over. 😡 NEVER GOING BACK TO CALIFORNIA FISH GRILL LA HABRA CA AGAIN YUCK: Go ahead be my guess try it once twice hey go for the 5th time. California Fish Grill sounds like it will be a high end experience, so expectations were high. Walk in and the first impression is cafeteria line. Here’s what I mean the door leads straight to an aisle that goes to the kiosk terminals where you place your order. So if it’s your first time and you’re not familiar with the process you start feeling like you are about to hold up “the line”. The screen to order on is nice bright and maybe clean. Tables are limited inside and they are not really welcoming. Functional but not inviting. The staff is busy but doesn’t run your food to your table. You will get a text and then you pick up your meal. The food quality is good. Wifey enjoyed her meal. Chowder was pretty good as well. When finished I expected to buss my own tray and table but I was told to leave it by the guy who seemed to be on break. Overall a total underwhelming experience.
