Ono Hawaiian BBQ — Restaurant in La Habra

Ordered 3 Island Feast Bundles for a party, but the staff didn’t include sauces, utensils, or napkins—I had to ask for each one. Later I realized all the drinks were missing. I called right away and explained I would return in about an hour since my guests had already arrived and I had to provide my own drinks at home.

When I came back, I asked if I could have canned drinks instead (same price), but was told absolutely not. Considering the drinks were forgotten in the first place and I had to make two trips on a very busy day, this lack of flexibility felt unreasonable.

In the end, I wasted time, gas, and energy, and left without the drinks at all. I normally enjoy Ono Hawaiian BBQ, but this experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing.

Great Food, HORRIBLE SERVICE. I ordered Family meal for pick-up. Came home and realized they missed an Entree, called them, placed on hold for total 20 minutes and felt like I was being accused of trying to get free food. When I got to the store, THE SECOND TIME, and told them who I was the staff took turns staring at me with a smirk. Ridiculous!!!! I have experienced other restaurants with missed items. However, when I call, the first thing I get is an apology and ask what I would like. In all times, I just went back to get the extra item. We order a lot for pick up and we do understand mistakes happen, but it is all good if you recover from the mistake. This Ono staff made the experience so awful, I will never go back to this location and thinking...

BEWARE! I ordered from here tonight to go and I asked for a 2 Piece Spam Musubis with my order and when I came home to open the bag the Spam Musubis was not in there. So, I called and asked for a refund for that portion because the place was a little bit of drive.

The people on the phone called me a liar saying that they put it in there and wouldn't give me a refund. The customer service at the place is very poor. They then hung up the phone on me when I asked for a refund.
