Best value is the dollar menu ice coffee and goes well with their desert options, particularly their hot Carmel Cheesecake Bites!

Unfortunately the hard shell tacos for Taco Tuesday aren't as big as I remembered them, so they seem more like tortilla chips with lettuce, cheese with a little taco meat, than a real taco. However their other menu items like carne asada fries are tasty for what they are and satisfying.

I also enjoyed the beer battered fish tacos, so always good to explore outside their core product offerings where the newer products actually taste better and the old classics have gotten a little smaller, or just a bit worn out, although their bean and cheese burritos with green sauce are still one of their best values if your on a budget.

However if you want real authentic Mexican food and know better, than you might want to spend more with their neighbor just north of them and across the street. But expect a completely different experience and price point, after all this is fast and affordable food and in that category, given its freshness, it is the strongest in this immediate area, as this location is a tried and true representation of the best Del Taco has to offer, consistently pulling in more business than the Carl's Jr just next door, because of the generally much better service. Two Strikes, Del Taco. I’m Done. After a failed attempt at one location where the cashier seemed to be randomly mashing buttons like it was their first time seeing a register, I gave Del Taco a second chance. Big mistake.

This time, everything seemed normal—until the smallest, most basic request somehow got ignored again. I asked for light ice. Not once, but twice. Clear, respectful, and direct. What did I get? A cup filled to the brim with ice like I asked for the exact opposite.

I brought it up again, calmly, and was met with disappointment. No fix. No care. Just that gut-punch feeling of being ignored and brushed off when all you want is a simple, decent experience.

They are having a serious quality control issue here judging from the other reviews it doesn't seem to be consistently good. 10:00 a.m. the beans and the meat were barely warm the lettuce was seriously wilted with even some brown slimy pieces. The tostada looked like it went through a war zone nothing was where its supposed to be, cheese was not even on the tostada was thrown in the corner of the carton like they just tossed it in there and missed. We should not have to open the containers and reassemble the food ourselves the way it's supposed to be . I never blame these things on the help I always blame these things on management and upper management area supervisors Etc for not enforcing a level of standards and quality.
