BJ's Sports Bar — Restaurant in La Junta

I never goe to bars but on Valentine's Day I wanted to do something different so me and my non drinking friend decided to go to BJ's and I would have a drink. My friend had been there msny times when he did drink. My knows EVERYONE in the Arkansas River area. So I had fun meeting the people he knew. If you are into sports memorabilia the walls are covered along with glass display cases full of interesting stuff. There's a couple pool tables, darts. Plus several big screen TVs showing a few different games, instead of showing the same game on all of them. Overall the place was clean. The service was great and everybody was friendly. We are in La Junta Colorado which is a small town so not too many bars but seems to be the most popular one in town If you are driving along Hwy 50 going through South East Colorado go check out BJ's tell em Debbie sent you. On our way home from the Grand Canyon as a family and this place was the exact right time to watch a Vikings game as we are from MN. They welcomed us in with our 14 year old who is a huge football fan and a player himself. They turned our team on every TV, cheered with us and were so incredibly kind!
