A'Roma Ristorante — Restaurant in La Palma

I was feeling my inner paisano today. Really, I think I'm part Italian because I can't help using hand gestures when I conversate. Either that, or I'm part rapper ;P Besides my upcoming birthday, I'm also over 7 years cancer-free. Combine those two together, , and what more reason do I need to try out A'Roma Ristorante in La Palma?

I sat at a table located in the Ferrari Bar. White table cloth at all the other tables, except for mine. Is this the table for people that are going to get "whacked"? J/K

For starters - Crusty Bread w/ marscapone cheese Tasty. I usually limit the amount of carbs from grain that I eat daily, but I threw that out the window today. The marscapone had a nice richness to it. You can have as much bread & marscapone as you want, which is why I took some home for later.

Salad w/ no stems NICE touch! I don't care for lettuce stems because they make me think I'm eating plastic. Also, while I prefer Caesar dressing, having a nice Italian vinaigrette occasionally is good, too.

I opted for one of today's specials, which was swordfish w/ fusilli aurora pasta & sauteed vegetables The swordfish was tender, moist & wonderful. I'm not a big pasta guy, but the fusilli aurora pasta, cooked al dente, was downright delicious. The sauteed vegetables were cooked well & added a nice crunch to the meal.

There weren't too many people here when I was seated, but the lunch crowd quickly showed up. The main dining room is quaint & had a nice decor. I'd imagine it can get quite loud if the place was packed w/ patrons conversing amongst themselves. Parking lot was pretty full, but wasn't too bad finding a spot

I enjoyed my lunch here at A'roma Ristorante. I would recommend dining here for special occasions or when you're attempting to romance a special someone (or two, for you players out there) in your life. At A'Roma Ristorante, you can expect nothing less than excellent service, friendly staff, and delicious food. You can dine here with confidence in the quality of your meal and experience. A'Roma Ristorante is a great spot for lunch or dinner and to celebrate any occasion or event. The extensive menu provides plenty of options, including many classic Italian fare.

A few of my recent favorites are the Linguine di Mare, Ravioli with meat sauce, Lasagna, Fettuccine Alfredo, and pizzas. There are so many classic items to choose from. Some of the portions for the entrees are generous, and we ended up with a few to-go boxes. The Calamari and Crab Cakes were also delicious and shareable.

House-made cocktails, wine, and beer can quench your thirst or pair perfectly with your meal. On Wednesdays, the 40% off wine bottles offer Is a fantastic way to save while enjoying your meal.

The staff was excellent throughout our recent visit. They were friendly and attentive and made sure we were enjoying our lunch. Our waters were always kept full, and finished plates were removed promptly.

I will try to keep it short and sweet. DELICIOUS FOOD. FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. No kids menu.But, FAMILY ORIENTED RESTAURANT. My daughter ate most of her pasta. And, I had the filet mignon. The server was amazing. I was told it was a family owned business. I have to say I haven't seen such excellence like this restaurant. This restaurant deserves a 5 star! The food quality is just great! And, it's unbeatable the service and smile. They have servers that speak Spanish. Which is a plus! I am happy to say I was dined in fast, the food was served fast and hot! And, I was constantly checked if I needed anything. This was my daughter and myself first time.
