Taco Bell — Restaurant in La Pine

Extremely disappointed.

I work the graveyard shift, so finding food late at night isn’t easy. I placed a mobile order around 12:15 a.m., well within this location’s posted hours of "1 a.m. or later". I arrived at 12:55 a.m., expecting a quick pickup.

Instead, I was ignored at the drive-thru. The mic was clearly active - I could hear movement - but no one responded despite repeated attempts to get their attention. As soon as 1:00 a.m. hit, the screen at the drive-thru went dark. I pulled up to the window, only to be told, "We're closed."

When I mentioned my mobile order, the employee claimed there hadn’t been any recent orders and that there was "literally no food in here," which is hard to believe, given my order had been placed 40 minutes earlier. It clearly was never prepared.

This wasn’t just bad service, it felt deliberately dismissive. If a location can't honor mobile orders made within the stated hours, that needs to be fixed. Being ignored until closing and then fed excuses is...

the kiosk thing is garbage. not very easy to navigate. makes the workers lazy. customer service is what drives the good industry, take away the human interaction you take away the experience an dollars. these ladies here did their best, so i have it a3. but honestly the kiosk things is crap an you can't modify your order as much as you could with a human taking your order very busy when we went. the kiosks take away from seating areas as well. these people are paid to give customer service, not just wear the taco bell uniform. many have great skills with people. yet corporate is cheap. i may come back an visit. idk. but you don't like human interaction then this were you should go if you rather enjoy interaction with a human being while giving your order then go somewhere else! such a tiny parking lot, impossible to find a spot majority of the time. drive thru is arranged to block traffic parking an parked traffic blocks drive thru from leaving....

Worst employee EVER!! The gal that took our order was rude and curt! She kept talking over us and just wouldn’t stop talking long enough for us to complete our order. The screen kept indicating we’d ordered some kind of super bowl, which we hadn’t! Finally, we decided to just pull forward and take whatever we got. When we reached the cashier window, we were asking Josh, to repeat our order back to us but, before we could complete the sentence, here came the gal, again talking over us and not letting us or Josh speak. She then told us she was going to refuse service. We just put our money in the plastic bin, got the food and left. Why did she leave the order windiw and come to cause more agitation??? On top of it all, our food was COLD 😡 WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THE LA PINE, OREGON TACO...
