The 20 wings I ordered were fried way too long. I wasn't able to enjoy them. Even the meat inside was pretty dry. A shake was overflowing which was just as well because my son didn't like his very much. No one complained about the burgers or fries so I'm assuming they were okay but I don't plan on going back. Maybe it was a fluke but 72 bucks is a lot for a fluke when you're hungry and tired. Edited to say that I really appreciate that the owner took the time to reply and offer a solution AND to correct any issues. I had already given the service 5 stars because the staff really was 5 star and I gave the atmosphere 4 stars but I'm bumping it up to 5 and I'm changing my stars for the food as well. Why? And there's nothing less appetizing than for the anticipation of that crunch to be met with rubbery, soft chicken skin. 😝 I call it soggy.
Now this review is for this location. I highly recommend Foster's and their food. But since I primarily order the wing basket, I can't rate higher for this location since my last couple of visits resulted in soggy wings.
I haven't experienced this at Waldorf. So if crispy skin is your thing, I wouldn't gamble with...
