Donut Connection — Restaurant in La Plata

My husband went there to buy me a cup of coffee, he gave the cashier $20 dollars that I gave him to pay for my coffee, when the cashier gave my husband $2 and some change, my husband informed her that he gave her &20 dollars unfortunately for my husband she insisted he only gave her $10 dollars and therefore she cheated my husband out of $10 dollars. I enjoy the donuts and coffee here when they are open and available. However, their sign says they open at 5:30am. So if that’s the time they open, then they should be rest to serve. I went in at 6am all three times and the woman working there is just starting to make everything. So when I ask if there are any donuts, she has an attitude and said not until later as if she doesn’t care. Don’t say you’re open at 5:30am and not be ready until 6:30am or later. Traveling in from the Midwest and I can say this place is the best. The donuts are so fresh and airy. Ample of flavors but the honey glaze is my favorite. The coffee is great. Everything tastes homemade, like from the kitchen to your bed. This is my new favorite place. Soooo glad there was a better option than Dunkin....
