Wee Bean Coffee Roasters — Restaurant in La Plata

Mere moments after rating this place as 5 stars.....I'm modifying it. This isnt a post in retaliation or wanting anything for free. But I literally just reviewed this place and WOW maybe I better rethink. I ordered a Berries and Cream Cold Brew and was told that it didn't come with the cold foam in the pic, I had to ask for it. (I ordered online, showed up 3-5 minutes after confirmed order completion time, not enough time for foam to vanish) when I said that that wasnt what was indicated online, the staff person pushed back (no angry tones, just a "no I'm right, you're wrong" demeanor). She eventually said she'd get her manager (the manager okayed the cream/foam/stuff on top at no charge). Here's the thing....maybe she WAS right and I WAS wrong. That would have been fine, but maybe offer me a solution (like "Ill add some for $1.20+ upcharge for you, here's a cup, you'll have to pour it on yourself" rather than just kind of standing there until it becomes awkward and a manager is retrieved). BUT as I'm waiting I saw the sandwich sign that clearly states it comes with all stuff on top in the pic. Additionally, the last time I was here my avacado toast had a ton of avacado skin (yuck) in it. It happens, things get messed up! I left a 5 star review AFTER the nasty-avacado-toast day so I'm not that hard to please. Generally I wouldn't even complain(like I didn't last time)! But why gaslight me about the foam? This review is two years late but I wanted to give a shout-out to Wee bean Coffee Roasters. Their coffee is by far the best coffee in SOMD. I’ve always been intimidated by “gourmet” coffee places because I wouldn’t know what to order and I would feel the pressure to order in a rush, but not here! The staff is knowledgeable and attentive, they explain everything you want to know in the nicest way. I’ve been visiting them for almost two years and the coffee is always freshly ground and brewed and it tastes delicious. My favorite is the cinnamon latte, I like my coffee hot, but most of my friends have had the cold brews and they love it! I also discovered that a growler of cold brew coffee is a really good gift for my friends. They also sell their fresh roasted beans from different countries, my favorite is the Dark Star Brew, it has a strong flavory taste of chocolate and blackberries but to me the best part of Wee Bean Coffee Roasters is the experience. This is an outstanding local coffee shop. We went there for the first time and were greeted with a friendly smile and a warm “hello”. We wanted to purchase a bag of coffee. The woman came out from behind the counter and literally walked us through the varieties of coffees they had available. She made personal suggestions and was knowledgeable and helpful. We ordered 2 large “black eye” coffees ( dark coffee with 2 espresso shots) and an orange scone in addition to our bag of coffee. The coffee is strong and smooth. We loved it. The coffee itself was worth the trip. However, unlike those big box stores, this coffee shop didn’t just say “hi”. They literally asked about how our morning was going and carried on a conversation as they were making our coffees.
