Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in La Porte

From arriving , we sat for over 25 minutes with no one greeting us, bringing a menu, or even acknowledging our presence. My husband had to get an employee's attention to ask if we could get a waitress. When a waitress finally came to our table asking for our order, we had to bring it to her attention we didn't have any menus. Totally oblivious to her surroundings. We ordered food and drinks and waited probably another 30 minutes before a kitchen worker brought out our food. We asked if we could get silverware, napkins, and drinks from the new arriving worker who was able to tend to most of our needs but informed us she could not fulfill the beer refill for my husband. Not sure why no explanation was given and she appeared of age. While eating our food the original waitress never returned and my husband had to share a soft drink with our son in order to have anything to drink with his meal. My meal was so overcooked the breading of the pretzel bites were rock hard and inedible. My husband got the manager and addressed all of these issues to which he only offered a discount and brought my husband his refill. We sat approximately another 25-30 minutes and we already had finished eating prior to the management getting involved and still no one checked on our table at all. One of our party had to go retrieve take out boxes herself from the carry out counter workers and my husband again had to track down the manager to even get our bill. The manager seemed absolutely incapable of acknowledging his employees were struggling or even able to handle basic communication to meet a person's needs in his industry. A few days ago My fiancé and I ordered a Pick up order . The scheduled pick up time was 7 PM . She arrived shortly after 7 PM . She then was informed that she was behind five other guests . She said when the workers at the desk said that to her, they were all laughing and acting as if they did not care . Being completely unprofessional . She then proceeded to wait for an additional 35 to 40 minutes . She finally received the food and brought it home . When she arrived home, my burger patties were well overcooked and I realized That my burger did not have bacon on it , Which is the only reason why I ordered that Burger Because I like bacon On my burger . The boneless wings and the chicken strips were great as usual . But as I said, the burger was not Prepared how I ordered it . I got online and filed a complaint . Whoever handles those complaints got back with me through email And said that they would give me 250 points through their app . That was very frustrating As I work in the restaurant business And realize that that’s not how you handle a situation like that . If a customer orders something and they failed to receive what they ordered, you should receive what you Actually ordered for compensation , Not to mention the extra 30+ minutes that my fiancé had to wait past the scheduled pick up time . I took my twin boys for dinner, their choice and they eagerly requested we eat at Buffalo Wild Wings, "and not just pick it up." Presumably since we have not been allowed to eat at restaurants..(poor kiddos and this pandemic!) It was late night dinner, second dinner, whatever you want to call it and boyyy, did my twins make a good choice!

Server was incredibly patient and relatable. We forgot to ask her name even though she asked the twins their names and said she is also a twin. She told them Happy 7th Birthday for Monday and also told them how special, rare and awesome they are bc they're twins!

Boys ordered Mac n Cheese and Cheeseburger kids meals and I had the Crispy Chicken Ranch Wrap with Honey BBQ and no tomatoes. Our food was brought by the host since our server had 2 other large parties she was taking food to. The boys dove right into the grub, the Mac and Cheese was gone before I had 4 bites of my wrap and the Cheeseburger was 1/2 gone! They certainly enjoyed the food and so did I! Our server asked if we needed refills or if I wanted a drink for the road. Everything was great even though they closed a half hour after we got there (Oops, didn't check the hours), meaning nobody was rushing us out or being short with us.
