Pat's Dairy Queen in La Porte is the number one Dairy Queen, I know for sure in the state of Texas. Her food is always fresh and made to order, the restaurant itself is immaculate, you will never see a dirty table for more than 2 minutes or anything on floor. Her restrooms are also the only fast food restaurant bathrooms i will let my kids use because they are always clean. Pat takes a lot of pride in each person that works for her, it's expected to go above and beyond with customer service and they do just that. They have always made my family, my kids family, my in-laws, and my children's friends always feel welcome. I have never seen Pat get angry and if an order is wrong which does happen sometimes, not very often at this restaurant, but people are human and if an order is wrong then Pat is very apologetic along with her managers and they make it correct or they will get a refund, whichever the customer prefers. Pat is not only the business owner of Dairy Queen in Laporte, but she is a La Porte Icon. Being at this same location for over 37 years with nothing but success goes to show that she is doing something very very right. We love Pat, we drive from different parts of Houston to come to this Dairy Queen as well as a lot of other customers that we've talked to. I just wanted to say that she deserves all the praise she gets and then some. She is the hardest-working business owner I have ever came across. She is in her restaurant morning and evening almost every single day. You can't say that for very many business owners. She takes pride in her business and her name. I always have an absolutely amazing experience every time I come here. The combination of high food quality, great customer service, low prices, restaurant environment, and cleanliness is unmatched.

The staff is super nice and friendly. They always go out of their way to make sure I have everything I need, and they always have such great attitudes. The owner Pat is also so nice, and I always enjoy talking with her. The food is always fresh and always tastes so good. The ingredients are never stale or old, and it always tastes like everything is freshly cooked instead of prepared in a microwave. Given my experiences with other fast food restaurants, I am amazed at how consistent this restaurant is when it comes to freshness, taste, and high food quality. I never have to worry that some visits the food will be good while other visits the food will be bad because time and time again the restaurant never fails to deliver on food quality. The restaurant is always so clean. I never see trash or scraps of food on the tables or floor, and the restroom is the cleanest restaurant restroom I know of. I always get my food very quickly, and there is great attention to detail since my food is always prepared exactly how I want it. The prices are amazing considering the portion size and the high quality of food. I really enjoy the atmosphere inside the restaurant. The decorations create a nice old school vibe that I really like, and the music selection compliments the overall environment.

I have been coming to this Dairy Queen since I moved to La Porte in 2005, and I have never been disappointed a single time. The restaurant feels like a friendly neighborhood diner, not a sterile corporate fast food restaurant. Unlike most restaurants nowadays, the customer service is amazing. The staff all greet me by my name, and they all remember my order. Pat, the owner, always says hello to me, and I always enjoy catching up with her. Everyone is so friendly and so willing to help and answer questions. Nobody is defensive or rude, and everyone I talk to always has such a positive attitude. The food is absolutely outstanding as well, and it has been this way for the past 20 years. The food quality is top notch. You can tell that all the ingredients are very fresh, and it is very clear that all the food is prepared right when you order. The food always tastes good each time I visit, and this kind of consistency is so hard to find these days. I have never had an issue with my food, and all the food always comes out very quickly. I also love the overall environment of the diner. The music and the decorations make it feel very warm and cozy. Everything is also so clean. I never see any crumbs or wrappers on the floor or on any of the tables. Kudos to the restaurant staff for prioritizing customer experience by keeping everything so clean and organized.
