Sonja Angelo Theater - La Porte High School — Attraction in La Porte

Visit 12-4-23: My daughter's junior high school choir has performed here twice so far this year. The lobby is large and has about three benches. The theater is a little small for a high school but is well maintained. The stage has built-in balconies on the side for the drama players. There is an area in the back where wheelchair users can park to watch the show. It would be nice though if there were seats in this area for the wheelchair person's attendant or family. I use a rollator walker and I usually sit by the isle seat where I fold up my walker; however, it makes the row of seats impassable for others. I wish the rows were wider. I have loved watching the La Porte High School Choir programs for the last four years. Sadly....it is our last year....b/c our grandson Dylan Rashell is a Senior....breaks my heart that he will graduate May 2019....but I know he has great things coming in his future. He makes me cry every time he sings. Keep reaching for the stars baby.....as I've always told you from when you were a little boy....Nana loves you...
