Jumbo Chinese Food — Restaurant in La Puente

Came here twice already and I enjoyed both visits. Customer service is fantastic and food is absolutely delicious. The thing that surprises me the most is the price and how much food they can fit into a takeout box.

Jumbo Chinese Food sits in a plaza that sits on Glendora Ave. It sides on the edge of the plaza and isn't too hard to find. Parking is extremely plentiful and I'm not sure what the 'Reserved' parking is for but I've parked in those spots every time.

I ordered the same thing but of course changed out the items both visits. The first visit, I ordered a Lunch Special (One item and one side, eggroll, and drink all for $5.75 during Lunch hours) and Two items ($6.75 for two items and one side) as well as the same iteration the second time as well as a Thai Tea. The first time I ordered chow mein for both meals and for the Lunch Special ordered a Sweet and Sour fried Pork. For the two item I ordered Kung Pao Chicken as well as Green Bean Chicken.

The second time I ordered the same iteration but the items switched to Fried Garlic Shrimp for the Lunch Special and Broccoli Pork and Fish/Tofu Stir Fry for the Two items.

I can tell you know that everything I ordered was absolutely DELICIOUS and definitely worth more than the price they had set for their menu. They absolutely pack the takeout boxes and it would seem physically impossible that the boxes can close but they somehow manage to do it. The Thai Tea comes in a HUGE cup too and is absolutely perfect. It is a bit sweet so I wait for some of the ice to melt before drinking.

All-in-all the price, portions, customers service experience is all enough for me to come back. I definitely feel like its cheaper coming here than making...

10+ yr customer. Decent Chinese fast food. Generally decent service. However, a few days ago I picked up a 3 item order and when paying I get a printed receipt only showing total of purchase. Lady acted a little shifty when punching numbers so I asked for detailed receipt and she fumbled a little and ended writing up a receipt with price per item and a total of $27.99 which is what printed receipt showed. When I got home and out of curiosity I added the items and came up with an over charge of $3 dollars. Want to patronize local small business but not if they resort to little scams to rip off customers. This really adds up! It's not only unethical and illegal but it's also CRIMINAL! Friendly staff. Good food. Large portions with reasonable prices. It's my go to though out of my area. 3 item.combo.with rice/noodles $11.59 3rd item is in a separate container since main box is too full.
