Yum Yum Donuts — Restaurant in La Puente

After having a horrible day I decided to go with my granddaughter and a friend with the thought of just getting a donut. My granddaughter and friend decided on couple drinks that I hadn't anticipated needing money for needless to say I only had enough to purchase their items and I was ok with that. The employee asked if I had decided on what I wanted I told her I was fine it had been a bad day and just wanted to take my granddaughter she asked if I was sure I said yes . After paying for their items with literally exact money on hand she handed me a cute little donut I mentioned It wasn't mine and she smiled and said she wished me a better day I thanked her and walked out holding tears because that little gesture meant the world. Decided to try something new and use the too good to go app, imagine my surprise when they, poor guy at the front counter, had no idea what I was talking about. His poor look of confusion and trying to let me know he was new. Why sign up for the app if you're not going to do it. And his explanation that the owner was just not coming in today so he couldn't do anything, was just the icing on the donuts I didn't get. Now I have to convince the app to give me my money back because these people couldn't follow through. Thanks...

I’ve been coming here for only the past two weeks. And I’m soo impressed by their menu. Their tortas are soo delicious! And so is their breakfast bowls. A huge variety of donuts as well. Looks like I’ll be coming here as a regular customer for a good while. When you find a place this good. You just keep coming back. And on top of all that. They’re open 24hrs. Wow! Doesn’t get any better than that. Actually it does. I love how they make you feel soo welcome. That’s very big with me....
