Five Guys — Restaurant in La Quinta

I tried to order to go food for my family of 4 tonight and was extremely shocked and disappointed to be cut off in the middle of my order to tell me I wasn’t allowed to order that much food to go due to a recent PRANK CALL. Unfortunately, I was in the situation where I get paid tomorrow and only had cash to feed my family. I had also ordered my entires families food except my own after a long day at work… They told me I could get the food I had ordered already for my family but could not add an additional burger for myself to eat. I was extremely upset to hear this is their management style after speaking with a manager…. I have never ran into this issue with any other place in the food industry and I am absolutely astonished to be treated like I am some thief and told I can’t order somewhere because they want to stereotype...

We have been coming here for years. After visiting other locations, this one is still the best. For all the complaints about too many veggies or other toppings, anyone who has been here knows that YOU are the one that decides what goes on the burger. Ask for "light" toppings, "heavy" toppings or even get toppings on the side - they are all included (except the bacon) with the price. My favorite is the little bacon cheeseburger with grilled mushrooms, onions, mayo and A1. Always cooked to perfection and the perfect blend of flavors. The cajun fries are amazing and we love the fancy soda machine - try the Barq's rootbeer with vanilla - tastes...

Out of the 3 FG's locations I visted on my trip this by far was the best one. The staff was pleasant, the food was prepared well, and they even went out of their way to ensure everything was right. My only complaint would be one of my burgers had mustard all over the bun, so maybe be a little more conscious of cross contamination when preping multiple burgers quickly and just replace one of you get a condiment on someone else's burger by mistake. Other than that one hickup, I really liked going to this FG's locations and will return on my next visit...
