Went in for breakfast with an older relative. I went in ahead to put our name in and out to the curb again to assist him with exiting the car. Right in front of the cafe. Went inside to wait. Twenty minutes I went to see how much longer, as my relative had an upcoming appointment and I was second on the list when I signed in. I was told that they called my name already and I wasn’t there! I asked if I have to go to the end of the list again, and the Hispanic girl at the register said that it is up to the lady doing the seating; an elderly Caucasian woman with glasses wearing a puffer vest, I believe. She completely shunned me after sternly telling me to “WAIT A MINUTE!” as she sat a party of two ! She clearly heard my inquiry with th cashier and tried to ignore me. The woman in the party of two even indicated that we had been waiting, which was courteous, but she sat th m anyway, with me standing there! I then approached her as she walked behind the counter and asked for an explanation and she hissed at me like an angry cat that if I had been nice to her, she would have assisted me! That did it, because my background happens to BE 30 years in high end hospitality, trained by Ritz Carlton in customer service. I am rarely, if EVER, discourteous. This now goes into the RARELY file. I loudly asked her, “ARE YOU SERIOUS??? FYI, We are LOCALS and eat hear at least once maybe twice a week. We don’t plan on coming back!” And she spat at me with pure seething hatred, “Good!”. This isn’t smart at all considering we live down the street, I grew up here and know just about everyone that is a hotel concierge, salespeople, realtors, and hpusewives who have big mouths like me, and I recently started a PR biz. They have had horrible reviews on Nextdoor and I always defended them. Not anymore. It’s the owners choice to have such...
Read morewe have been before and the food is very good the staff is very friendly but the woman who is in the register (the owner) is rude, this morning I went with my uncle who is 88 years old with some health conditions and it is difficult for him to sit on small chairs , we asked for a table in the back that are bigger and more comfortable and this woman (the owner) did not want to give us a table in the back, I tried to explain the reasons but she did not let me finish and she told me that it was the only table she had available for Two persons she give us a tables very close to the entrance and every time a client entered it was cold. A few minutes later two persons Came and asked for a table in the back and Then two more Came And she let them sit in the back . she is rude and 🐶 ! And from the reviews I've read, this is the way she treats customers. She should be working on something else but I can tell she's not a people person and should be more considerate of the elderly. We not coming back...
