In all my 28 years, born & raised in the CV. I finally got to experience The Cliff house Restaurant. & I was nooot disappointed. Hubby & I arrived at 6:30. We had the choice to be seated inside or out. We sat inside, to where we walk into a huge beautiful bar 🍸 😍 Our table was facing towards the bar & the huge tv's where they had golf, soccer & baseball games on. We were also able to look behind us & got the most beautiful CV sunset view😍 We ordered a signature Cadillac & the Grapefruit Margarita 🍹 We shared a Ceasars salad for our starter, ordered the Short Ribs for dinner & an ice cream wedge for dessert 🔥 😋 LET ME TELL YOUUUUUUUU Maneeeee.... Drinksss were on point!! That Saladdddd thoughhh , oooooo that must have been the best mf salad I've ever had!!! The dressing is what made the cherry on top. It was so delicious that I asked for a second salad. Before my 2nd salad came too the table, our short ribbs came out with smashed potato's with a huge tender juicy chunk of meat on top, with perfectly chared/grilled brussel sprouts, (we dont even eat brussel sprouts but with the combination of each in ever bitee, ooooo sweet lord jesus, it was 🔥) & topped with some magic sauce drizzled over the dish. ( I swear I'm gonna need the recipe to all these sauces, lol) Omg ! & when that vanilla ice cream wedge came out uffffffff we both looked at each other & thought we were not gonna be able to finish it all. BUUUT WE DIDDD 🤣🤣 WE WILL DEFINITELY BE COMING BACK ! & in all our table was about $150 for a 2 person party. & OF COUSE WE TIPPED! We THANK the bartender, servers, foodrunners & bussers for the excellent service & all was well worth it. Next time, we're gonna sit outside though too get an even better view of the sunset (; Great Job Guys, We Really Did Appreciate You All For The Service ♥️

La Quinta Cliffhouse has been a valley favorite for decades, and it’s easy to see why. With an emphasis on fresh seafood, hearty soups, crisp salads, and a well-rounded mix of beef, chicken, and Italian dishes, there’s something to please every palate. Whether you're a fan of classic seafood fare or prefer something from the land, the extensive menu is thoughtfully crafted to satisfy a variety of tastes. The ambiance is equally inviting, offering a refined yet relaxed atmosphere that makes it a perfect spot for a special dinner or a casual evening out. One of the standout features of La Quinta Cliffhouse is its three dining styles. The traditional dinner menu provides a full selection of meals, while the Sunset dinners offer a smaller selection of half-portioned items at an excellent value. This is perfect for those who want a lighter meal but still crave the high-quality flavors. For a more casual experience, the bar menu is available during happy hour, providing smaller plates and drinks that are just as delicious. This flexibility in dining options makes it a versatile choice for any occasion. The outdoor patio seating, available year-round, enhances the dining experience, especially with misters and fans to keep things cool during the summer and heaters for the winter months. The service is consistently excellent, with attentive staff who ensure every guest feels welcome and taken care of. With enough menu variety to keep everyone satisfied, La Quinta Cliffhouse is a restaurant worth returning to time and time again. Come for the seafood, stay for the atmosphere, and be sure to add this gem to your list of favorite dining spots.

My wife and I have been wanting to try the Cliffhouse for a while so we came here for our anniversary. The best way I can describe the Cliffhouse is to imagine Duke's Malibu in the desert. A lot of the menu items are similar, and if you swap out the ocean with an giant rock cliff in the desert, WHAM, you have the Cliffhouse. My wife and I just so happen to really like Duke's so we both had a very pleasant evening at the Cliffhouse. We started off with the mussels and the calamari. The calamari was decent, but the mussels were pretty good. The only thing that was missing was something like bread to soak up the curry broth. They provide complimentary bread when you sit down, but unfortunately, I had already eaten all the bread. For the mains, we shared the bone in ribeye and the half portion of the ahi tuna. This all this was plenty of food for the both of us. The ribeye was very tender, and while the ahi tuna wasn't as good as the ahi tuna at Dukes, we're also in a desert over 100 miles from the ocean, so I can't really complain. When we made our reservation, we mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary. I'm not sure if this is normal, but they provided us with a complimentary Ice Cream Wedge. My wife and I had no idea they did this, but we also laughed when the dessert came out because it was identical to the Hula Pie at Dukes. We loved this Ice Cream Wedge and it was the perfect way to end our night. The service here is great, and the overall ambiance of the restaurant is unique.

We have dined at the Cliff House and it’s affiliate restaurant, Pacifica, many times. We’ve always enjoyed a wonderful experience in such a beautiful setting! However, our experience at Cliffhouse tonight was very disappointing! When we arrived for our reservation we asked if we could be seated outside. We were told quite brusquely that “ no there was no room”. The host then led us to a very noisy dining room to a table that was spaced about 2 feet from the adjacent one. I saw a table a short distance away in a quieter spot and asked if we could be seated there instead. The host said no that was a table for three and my husband and I could not be seated there. My husband explained that he had a hearing impairment and that he would not be able to hear anything I was saying if we were seated at the table she was planning to put us at. She left and after a couple of minutes came back and led us to a separate dining area where no one was seated. It was quiet but we wondered if we would ever be noticed by a server. However, shortly after, our server appeared and was very charming. Then a group of four was brought into the same dining area. They were going to be seated at a booth across from ours. They asked if they could sit outside instead. The host said of course you can and ushered them outside. This didn’t make any sense to us. Our meal then arrived and it was lukewarm at best. Our server was nowhere to be found. Finally I was able to flag someone down and asked if the meal could be heated up. The server graciously took it away and returned within about five minutes with a new hot meal. However, the salmon filet I received was now 2/3 the size of the original piece! My punishment?! Then when the bill arrived we were charged an additional $25 in error. All in all this made for a very disappointing evening. Will we go...
