I spend over $100 at this restaurant every week seeing as I live really close to the store. When Ashley brings the food to my table I politely let her know that she put ham in my hash browns and I’m a vegetarian. No biggie everyone makes mistakes and with me being a District manager of 5 restaurants I completely understand! So as she was calling my correct order i reminded her no chili no chunk she rudely says “I know” which again no biggie maybe she was having a rough day. I went to pay and was charged a to-go service fee and because I ate there the District Manager “Deserie” takes it off and says next time I won’t do this and by the way don’t wear that robe back in here! I explained that it was part of my religion not to mention I had shorts on under it. Well that didn’t sit right with her she then became very rude and says I can’t speak to the fellow customers. Off coarse I was baffled and said “With all due respect I have a freedom of speech and I’m allowed to dress however I want unless there is a dress code in place. She then said “ I can deny service to who I want “. At that point i apologized and then heard a waitress say he’s bothering the guess i responded that i haven’t even spoke to anyone in which she became even more angry.As I was walking out she said don’t come back. I thought I have never received this type of treatment from any manager and being that I hold the same position in my field it was horrific!!! I will NEVER return! Read moreI don’t think I have ever seen a more professional set of employees than the 3 working tonight. But also two of the most dysfunctional. I didn’t get names but considering the mess that we walked into around 9:15-9:20pm tonight, someone higher up definitely needs to peak in on some of the people on payroll at this location.
From our perspective, one guy was completely hammered/disoriented, could not even stand up straight, overfilled the tea pitcher twice and spilled it everywhere because he just kept walking away. Another woman just complained about everything bothering her and how she couldn’t stay. During which time she’s “attempting” to complete dishes and sprays water in my wife’s face across the bar. Barely got an apology but we kept quiet because we knew she was leaving and was part of the issues. Honestly once those two (the fubar’d young man and the complaining woman) were gone, the other waitress and two cooks were able to handle everything. You could tell they were a little stressed but never once did they show disrespect or rude behavior to those two staff holding them down. Seriously, those two are dead weight. Guy was 1000% on something and the girl clearly needs to be in a different line of work.

Read moreThe service made the atmosphere bad. The staff seemed to be overwhelmed and stressed, it was New Year's I'm sure that added to it. I've eaten here many times before never an experience this bad. The cooking area was almost disgusting, one of the waitresses grabbed a waffle off the iron after touching her hair with no glove. They were not greeting people as they entered in the way that is their signature. There were moments when the staff was nice, but there were more moments where they were curt with the patrons, one woman said hello kindly and was met with, "We saw you". The food was still Waffle House good but if anything else had been open I would've left. At least three groups did leave commenting on the rude staff on their way out. I want to stress that I pass through and eat at this Waffle House a lot, normally they are kind, but unfortunately this time it was so bad that I had to leave a review. On my way out I overheard a call with the staff and the manager discussing that it was time for at least two of them to leave but no one to cover their shift, the call probably should've been handled in private somewhere.
