Memories Bar and Grill — Restaurant in La Vergne

I use to love going to this bar. it was the first place that made me feel welcomed when I moved to this area. the owner is amazing and the people that go here are great. Unfortuanly after a series of events that occurred I will not be going back here. two of the bartenders kicked us out because we didnt want to move our seat as we had been sitting there for hours and there was not a reserved signed on it but suddenly we were asked to move for some local guys that walked in. we declined moving and were pretty much given no other option rather than leaving. upon leaving my friend flicked them off and one of the bartenders physically ran after him in the parking lot and grabbed him forcefully by the arm at which I stepped in so she then chest bumped me and was screaming in my face. All of this over a table. it's truly sad and heartbreaking as I use to love being there. I guess some good things just dont last. I've spoken with the owner and she is truly apologetic and has reached out to me to try to make things right which I respect and wish her and the bar well. the bartenders are great at first but once you become a regular your no longer important atleast that's the way they...

First experience was great.Food was good server was good . Not my normal crowd because I would normally do a more urban scene but me and my boyfriend love dive bars and try new ones all the time.

Second experience a year-and-a-half later was not great. Came in on a Friday night for dinner and a couple of drinks. Walked to the bar sat down and ordered food and drinks. 30 minutes later the owner comes and says that we have to pay a cover for the band that is playing. No problem but no one told us before we came in that there was a cover, nor was it posted on the outside of the doors before we came in . Our server did not tell us either and seemed a little thrown off when the manager told her to add it to our tab. The food was also not as good as the first time and the portions seem to be smaller and just wasn't that great. So here goes!! Omg 😱 the burgers made here by (I can’t remember his name) long hair mustache the best burgers you will have in my opinion. Wow!!. The service is great until the live band starts playing my advice to the owner (especially on Friday Saturday nights) more than two bar tenders would be a good idea. However the two that was there did the absolute best they could (running around like crazy) so did my guy in the kitchen (by himself) so I’m going to name everyone hopefully I get their names right here goes.
