I recently had the pleasure of celebrating my wife's birthday at Lordsburg Taphouse and Grill in La Verne, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. This cozy establishment offers a great variety of draft beers and an enticing menu that left us satisfied and smiling.

When we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with friendly staff members who greeted us promptly and made us feel welcome. The only hiccup was that the specific draft beer I initially wanted wasn't available, despite their claim of having a comprehensive selection. Nevertheless, the diverse range of other options more than made up for it.

Our group decided to indulge in the famous Hangover burger and fries, and I opted for the grilled chicken salad. Let me tell you, the food did not disappoint! The Hangover burger was beautifully crafted, with a juicy patty, perfectly cooked bacon, and a tantalizing combination of toppings. The fries were crispy and flavorful, providing the ideal accompaniment.

As for my grilled chicken salad, it was a refreshing and healthy choice. The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, and the assortment of fresh vegetables added a delightful crunch. The dressings provided a burst of flavor without overpowering the dish.

Went here for St. PATRICK'S DAY looking to have a beer and some fish 🐟 and chips with the wife. Place was crowed and quite festive ☘️. Service was slow with the beer as demand was high and the servers and bar staff were frantically filling orders for 🍺 folks who were chugging away the green beer and other mixed drinks as fast as they were presented to the patrons. Patience was key and the bar and wait staff are 🏆 Champs for working so hard on a Sunday St PADDY'S day. Beer and alcohol service for that day was also available outside on the patio. Enjoyed a cold one streetside with other friendly folks waiting to get a table. Once we were seated the wait staff was fast and polite. Drink order came around fast and surprisingly the food was just as fast too. I highly recommend this place for the fish and chips. Great batter, comes out crisp and light, good tarter sauce and their coleslaw is just the way I like it. Better yet they have one of my favorite Irish Cream Ales on hand Killkenny. Great Red Ale which is always on tap here throughout the year...Definitely coming back. My wife had ordered the same food dish and big thumbs up from her too...she doesn't drink alcohol so she ordered a Shirley Temple to which they served in a large beer 🍺 mug which made her happy too. This place is an absolute gem, in a world full of restaurants that call themselves any number of names, i.e.- gastropub, craft brew artisnal brasserie, etc., this place does not mess around with B. S. titles. If anything they undersell who they are.... I have worked in the craft brewing business for years, and this place has amongst the best beer selection of any restaurant or bar I have ever been in. The names and brews rotate, but there are always several that impress me- and whether you want a seasonal ale, a hoppy east or west coast IPA, something Belgian, or just a damn working man's lager you can knock back 4 pints of while watching a game... You are gonna find a delicious, fresh, and perfectly chilled one here. The booze menu is great too with a regular list of great house cocktails and seasonal/rotating specialty remixes of the classics. And if it stopped there it would be a knockout of a bar, but the kitchen is a knockout! Salads that even a carnivore can love (and probably not Finnish), burgers, fish and chips...
