Iāve been dining at Warehouse Pizza for a while now, and it never disappoints. Itās a fun place with a classic, old-school pizzeria feel thatās full of energy, arcade games, TVs, and outdoor seating. The pizza itself? Absolutely delicious.
On our latest visit, I brought my brother, wife, and daughter. My brother had never been before and has heard a lot about it. We ordered a small cheese pizza for my daughter and a large half-special/half-veggie to split in addition to some cheese bread and a salad. The salad was fire. They use the perfect cheese topping that hits the spot (and letās be real, you canāt really mess up a Caesar salad). The cheese bread was tasty too - a little peppery, but really good. And as always, the pizza was fantastic but use caution: itās piping hot when it hits your table. Trust me, Iāve learned that lesson the hard way. Letās just say my mouth was ācrustfallenā after that first bite.
That said, there are a few caveats to keep in mind: They donāt deliver, itās cash-only and the plates and utensils can be⦠well, letās just say less-than-sparkling. We swapped them for paper plates and plastic forks, and I highly recommend you do too. You can thank me later.
It is a little on the pricey side, but honestly, itās worth it for the high-quality pizza and...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreGrowing up in La Verne, Wearhouse Pizza has always been my gold standard for what a great pizza place should be. Decades later, Iām happy to say the flavors havenāt changed a bit. Theyāve stayed true to their āif itās not broken, donāt fix itā philosophyāand in terms of taste, that absolutely works.
That said, there are a few areas where I think some updates wouldnāt hurt. The interior feels pretty outdated, and the fact that theyāre still cash-only can be a bit inconvenient, especially for folks who arenāt locals or first-timers.
One small but noticeable detail: our salads came on the usual hard plastic plates, but when the pizza arrived, they only offered flimsy paper plates. Iām not sure when that switch happened or if it was just an off day, but when youāre spending $120 for a party of six, basic plastic plates donāt seem like too much to ask. Maybe Iām being pickyābut hey, Iād like to enjoy my favorite pizza without worrying about my plate folding in half.
All in all, Wearhouse still hits the mark where it counts: flavor and nostalgia. Iāll always have love for this place, and Iāll definitely be backābut a few modern touches...
