Took my child there around 9:30/9:45 am on a Wednesday. The playground is located next to Roynon Elementary School. There is a gate between the equipment and the school but the equipment itself is not fenced in. He played for a several minutes when a teacher slid back the gate between the school and equipment and numerous children came to play. I was than informed the school children were to play here and I needed to leave and go somewhere else. I took my upset child and immediately called the school to complain and understand why this happened. I was informed that the equipment was school owned.    Read moreI've been coming to this park for close to 45 years and it is always nicely kept. I took swimming and diving lessons at the pool, my daughter played soccer there and now I live across the street. It gets crowded early on the weekends during soccer season but it's ok. There was a guy who use to practice his bagpipes for a while every Sunday morning... I enjoyed listening to him, even if it was the same time over and over! I hope he comes back!! A couple of problems that I have with the park is there is not much of a playground for kids, bathrooms close around 7pm, and the picnic area seems old and decaying.
