Caffrey's Backyard — Restaurant in Lacey Township

Ladies and gentlemen let's talk about what we ate at Caffreys Backyard. While my son is a very no-frills guy and ordered the cheeseburger... he exclaimed that it was "pretty good". That's the most youll usually get out of a teenager these days. However my burger, if I remember correctly, was called the nutter butter... The reasoning is it had provolone, huge slab of bacon and peanut butter on it!!! I had to be adventurous and try something new, but I can tell you with conviction that it was one of the best burgers I've had in long time. I will order it again ...and again ...and again. My wife joining in the adventurous trend also tried the chicken and waffles pizza, with the side of chili maple syrup. I can tell you that she was elated as much as I was to all the flavors that we had in front of us, and no leftovers could be found. Of course the alcohol was overpriced, as with most outdoor dining locations. If you can avoid imbibing, you'll still leave with a good stack in...

Food is always excellent and so is the staff. PLEASE when you are going to the backyard be mindful that it is a bar, so if you being children you should keep them near you as they are not allowed to play with the backyard games such as pool. When I went parents let their kids run around kicking up rocks, trying to break the bag toss by climbing on boards and when we played pool they came up and tried to grab one of the balls. This is no a place for kids unless you tend on keeping them at the tables. OTHER than that this place is amazing! Amazing food, Great staff, nice music and...

A bartender named Bill, confronted me because I wrote on my ticket that I was not going to tip that well because when I sat down at the bar I layed my arms in food grease and oil, the bar was not cleaned properly, and I was not going to tip high because of it, when said bartender noticed that I was speaking to his manager who asked me to point him out he rushed out from behind the bar and tried to start physical altercation with me, bad bar service.
