Read moreThe food is awesome, but the service is not great, though it's not bad either. You can only order online because they don't take phone orders; the Google location does not have the website on the profile so I had to search for the website on the internet, and select the correct location to order my food ahead of time. When I got there 8 minutes after I ordered, the food was not ready to be picked up yet. So the front desk lady told me that she will call me by the name on the order when it is done. I waited another 15 minutes, and later decided to check on the status, and I saw at least five orders on the pickup counter indicating that they are ready to be picked up. So, I went up to the front desk lady again and asked her after I saw some ready to go orders, are one of those mine? And she checked and she said "oh okay sorry I didn't see it." So as I grab the food I checked a little bit and when I got to the car I saw there wasn't any of the three sauces that ordered upon checking again a but more in depth. So I went back inside right away and asked them if they put the sauce in there, or do i have to get them from the sauce bar, and she said that we usually put them in the bag with the rest of the food. So after she asked if it was not put in the bag, I said no, but I can go get it myself from the sauce bar and she said "sorry". The food has always been good over here though. That's why I really keep coming back. I'm not writing this review because I was angry, however, I like to write reviews to make the business improve when I know there is potential. So I give my feedback as a customer. So when you read this review just know that I wrote only what happened...
Read moreI've been meaning to try Super Chic since they opened recently. I made the not-so-great choice to visit at 1130 am on Saturday during Labor Day weekend. The store was EXTREMELY busy. While I had planned to jump in and out for takeout during a lunch break it ended up taking a full 25 minutes to receive my food. During this time I awkwardly stood in places where there was no space for me while employees and customers bustled around punctuated often by the yell of RUNNER as the employees did an impressive job of working down the line.
This review is in no way disparaging of the store. The employees did an admirable job of keeping up with a crushing workload. Props to all of them. The only critique I could offer would be that it would have been nice to be informed that order times were pushing 30 minutes so that I could decide if I had the time or not.
The food: regardless of my 25-minute wait the food was hot! I ordered chicken tenders and loaded fries. I had planned to eat in the car however I had failed to realize that I needed to grab napkins and utensils. This left me with a bag of delicious fries (really good fries, way overflowing) and a tub of cheese/onions/bacon with no way to marry the two. I will say resolutely that this is not an eat-in-your-car meal. So many fries that the bag was leaving oil on everything it touched.
Still, after I managed my first-world problems the chicken was delicious. Tender, salty, and savory with just a tad of sweetness. The fries were extremely tasty and generously served.
I'll be back. Probably not during lunch rush but the food...
