Went in this evening to reward my child for being in the no cavity club at her dentist appointment today. She wanted frozen yogurt at Bluspoon and after being treated VERY rudely I wish I had went there instead of Kilwins! We got our ice cream, the YOUNGER staff who served us was very friendly and very helpful. My husband, daughter, and I were sitting at a table by the side entrance and we looked up. Well upon looking up the vent above us was FILLED with dust. Continued looking around at the fans with light fixtures. There were cobwebs on the light fixtures and dust on the blades of the fans. The other light fixtures had dust all over them too. So we took our ice cream outside so we didn't have to fear skin particles getting into our ice cream. While we were sitting outside looking in apparently an employee or the owners had their grandchild there who was behind the counter. The youngest boy was playing with the waffle cone maker, while flinging his arms all around and there was another younger girl with LONG hair just walking around picking out caramel apples while the employees had their hair put back and up. HELLO!! Since I really love the ice cream from here and thought that the dust was OVERLY disgusting I figured I'd kindly go in and let a staff member know. So I informed a younger employee that was standing by the fudge about looking up and then going outside to finish our ice cream. Well there was an older woman behind the counter who I guess didn't like to be told that the store had dust in its vents and says to me 'would you like to get a ladder and clean it for us? You'd be surprised how often we have to do so.' ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?! Is that really how you treat a person who just spent money at your establishment? I'm used to getting treated differently in this neck of Florida even though I've lived in this area FAR longer then most of the retirees but this was beyond how I've ever been treated around here. I'd really like to know if I was a Villager if the woman would have treated me any different!?!?! I love Kilwins but this one I do not and will NEVER recommend any one to go there. And not because the place was DIRTY, i mean I know things can be cleaned and brighted up, but because of that OVERLY rude older woman behind the counter that had NO customer service skills! That kind of attitude takes more then scrubbing to get rid of. I was more appalled at the rudeness of her then the dust that was caked on everywhere. And the only reason I gave 2 stars was because there was other's there that didn't treat you like the dust that needed to be cleaned up!
Wow I would like to point out the response from the owner.. must be the same rude person behind the counter that can't get her attitude brighten like her...

Read moreVery Rude Employee/Manager...we just ask a simple question if you all had Oatmeal Cookies because we had never visited your shop before, but instead of the lady behind the counter answering with a more intelligent reply she DECIDED to be a smartass and reply with "No we are not a Bakery" right then and there I decided NOT buying anything from this place 😡 and as we were leaving I told that associate or maybe she was the Manager (don't know and really don't care)...I told her she was very rude and that was the reason why we were not buying ANYTHING..and she had a look a dumb look on her face like she didn't know what I was talking about I honestly think she did but acted dumb. That just tells me she is used to talking like that to anyone and acting stupid...Learn some manners!! Customers make your business or break it... Believe me I WILL tell more friends and family about the rudeness of this place 😡😡...and if you don't care about this review that's fine, but I know my review WILL help others to NOT stop by and taking their business and money somewhere else where they are appreciated and treated...
