Corner Bar — Restaurant in Lafayette

I’ve been here multiple times and most of the time it’s good, service is good and drinks are to be expected. Went in on Tuesday for a couple drinks and I was charged incorrectly. I had two beers and I was charged for three. My bill was $12 and I asked why was I being charged $6 for two miller lites. The bartender (who opened my tab and gave me my first beer) told me I had 3 beers, I told her no I had two. She brings out the manager to only tell me that “yeah, she said you had three beers so there isn’t anything that can be done.” Why even get this man? So you’re telling me that basically I can be charged whatever as long as the bartenders say that is right? It’s a beer, I get it, not a big deal to them( because they don’t care probably). But this is the third time that I’ve been over charged or charged for something I didn’t drink. Just print out an itemized receipt before charging people and this could have been a lot easier instead of forcing someone to pay for something they...

Nice place to sit and chill if you want to be able to actually hear and talk to your friends. Easy to get to and plenty of parking. Mixed crowd, not rowdy, at least from 4-7 pm weekdays (I suppose things may be different later in the evenings, or on weekends). Decent number of beers on tap, including some from Louisiana breweries, but not an exhaustive selection. Overall, well stocked bar with mixed drinks and frozen margaritas. Also margaritas to go. Not sure about the snacks/food. I went mostly for the company...

Editing review. Usually a good nice bar to go to. I have been there a lot. Nice booth tables to sit at. The King Cake and Egg Nog daiquiris are my favorite when it's season. Had a night where I got charged a large tab on my card that wasn't mine. Just got put under another Sc... name. It took a while to fix and had to go in person. Ask for Chris if you have a problem and he'll help you out. I appreciate the help after the fact even though it took a while to...
