Jet Coffee — Restaurant in Lafayette

my hot coffee was room temp- and they completely ignored my husband whenever he was trying to make an order. after they took my order the lady gave me a half assed “have a nice day” while walking away towards the back. part of me thinks it was a racial thing considered my husband is hispanic- well no. it was DEFINITELY a racial thing because she even scowled at him. i wasn’t able to grab her name but the time stamp is around 4:55pm on Nov 30, 2024. I’m sure you guys have cameras you can pull it up on-

needless to say we will NOT be giving our business to this location ever again if that’s the way they want to treat people who don’t fit their frou-frou prestigious lil mold.

Today, i got a coffee around 7am. I didn't know that i couldn't have liquids either for the fast i was in for my stomach scan. After i bought the coffee and got to work, I found out that i couldn't have liquids either, so I wasn't able to drink my coffee and gave it to my coworker instead. Left work a few hours later, did my scan, and i went back to get a replacement coffee. The lady checking me out found out and wouldn't let me pay for my coffee no matter how much i insisted to. Y'all when i say i balled, i balled. I cried at the window getting my coffee. One of the nicest things someone has done for me in a while. Good coffee and nice workers! The inside can be a bit too crowded for my liking and I had WiFi issues when I first went, possibly due to so many people being connected. Bc of this, I would consider this coffee shop a better place to hang out than it is to study, though I did see several people getting work done as well. I'm very glad that they have a collaboration with Caroline's Cookies bc the Dubai Chocolate cookie bites I tried were INCREDIBLE, I would honestly come back just for that! The drive thru is fast and convenient and I would use that rather than dining in due to how crowded it gets.
