I donât leave reviews but this needs to be shared. Worst interaction Iâve ever experienced at any place of business, ever.
My wife explained to me what happened in detail. She was hung up on not 1 time but 2 times for asking questions respectfully about a weird 1 off situation. When she explained to me what happened I called the store and asked some questions and received the same treatment. My concerns werenât about anything other than the mistreatment and nasty behaviors of your employees towards my wife. When I asked for the first name of the person I was hung up on. Thatâs a pretty normal question in a scenario like this so I can tell the business owner, yourself, who hopefully cares enough to do something about it.
When I called back after being hung up on I told him that if I needed to drive up there to have to have this conversation I would so donât hang up on me. If that was perceived as a threat then I apologize but thatâs me trying to have the rude disrespectful employee not hang up on me again. I was hung up on again and they wouldnât take a message with my information.
I then called the other location and spoke to a manger there who was very nice and concerned and did take my information down and I thanked her kindly for her help. Then when the owner called I get accused of calling the other store and cussing the lady out that took down my information and listened to what happened and helped me out? That makes so much sense right?
When the owner called me I explained what happened in detail. Bottom line is that it was wrong & the only thing I asked for was an apology from the 2 employees that disrespected my wife who didnât do ANYTHING to deserve that. The owner did call my wife but she was working as a nurse in our community so she couldnât answer unfortunately. You left a vague voicemail that says âhey itâs igloo owner call backâ literally you could have left a voicemail apologizing for the actions of your employees and all of this is done. Instead you want to comment on my review to defend your employees instead of addressing the problem. Could you imagine how you would feel if someone treated your wife like this in the middle of her 13 hour shift at the hospital for asking a question about a misunderstanding. Youâre honestly disgusting for supporting that kind of behavior at your place of business.
The comments from you, the owner, to people leaving reviews on your business explains it all. Do you really think that all of the other 6 people that left you similar reviews about MISTREATMENT in the last year from this SAME location are all liars? Are you there every time something this takes place to defend their position and call the others liars basically? No you arenât there every time are you? Take some accountability for your business and listen to what people share with you when something like this happens instead of trying to defend every bad...
Read moreI will start with the quality (or lack thereof) of the food received. This will serve as a basis. My whole family purchased food from this place for the first time today. Their ice cream and soda is definitely worth what you are paying. We have had it for years. The food? That is another story. I ordered two cheeseburgers. (Note the cheese part). What I received was a cheeseless cheeseburger. That was the only redeeming quality. This burger, heralded as a quarter pounder steak burger, could not have been further from the case. Between the large chunks of âdicedâ onion, the huge, unwieldy leaf of garnish quality lettuce; and, to top it all off, a slice of tomato thicker than the burger patty itself. My order was the highlight of everybodyâs food. My father ordered two hot dogs, a burger, and fries. His burger was basically mine, but with even less ingredients on it. His coney cheese dog had no coney sauce. Though, I do not wish to see what it would have been like if it had been there. Additionally, the cheese was a very cheap nacho cheese sauce fit to be served with a pretzel at a baseball game. The dreaded wiener itself looked as though it has been bobbing around in a cold pool of stagnant water for hours. It had patches of gray riddling itâs surface. All of this on the cheapest lack luster bun you could imagine. Stale and crumbling. The hot dogs went straight to the garbage. Go to your local speedway for a superior weenie. The French fries smelled of something stale and expired. My mother ordered a 6 dollar chicken sandwich that was little more than the exact same thing they serve at McDonaldâs for a dollar. High quality chicken sandwiches at chick fil a or Popeyes have a far superior quality that shows the business cares about what it is selling to people for likely the same price, if not cheaper. My little sisters ordered similar things that they did not enjoy, and half of what we ordered went in the trash. All of this to feed seven people with decidedly inferior to McDonaldâs quality food for a grand total of SIXTY THREE DOLLARS. Never before in my life have I eaten FAST FOOD that was priced so outrageously for a famously underdelivered promise that was such an incredibly pitiful and shameful display of âeffortâ and care for the clientele being fed. Never before have I seen such a blatant negligence for the quality of product leaving the kitchen and representing the entire face of the company than this absolute sack of garbage, which was treated as such, and promptly thrown away. Do not waste your money. It is an expensive...
Read moreThis is my go-to Igloo location because the staff is SO nice here at Igloo South. Although I frequent both locations, because Igloo East is near my place of employment.
My favorite drink is the Vanilla Diet Coke, which I pair with pineapple dole whip or a Twist waffle cone custard with sprinkles. I definitely recommend their French Fries and Bosco sticks as well, served fresh and comes HOT! So good! Can't beat freshly cooked food and freshly made custard. A match made in heaven. Their milkshakes are so good and thick as well. Although if you do get toppings, they usually get pulverized into the shake, so be aware of that. I recommend their fizzy drinks as well, my choice is tigers blood, basically a snow cone, but instead of ice, it's carbonated water.
Wait times are long so definitely expect to wait awhile, longer if you order food because I believe it's made to order. You usually pull ahead and wait. Although they do have the option to order for pickup online. I haven't tried that option at this location yet.
Their prices are a tad high, but preferred because I would rather support a local business than a chain one (in all honesty, their prices are about the same as anywhere else). Quality is better...
