Legacy Pub — Restaurant in Lafayette

Being vegan and new in town I had heard through the Tippecanoe vegetarian facebook page to come here. They were right! There were 2 main dishes on the menu that were vegan, and so many vegetarian that were able to customize it was hard to pick. We ended up getting the two vegan dishes, the Tippe tacos and the pasta primavera, with chips and salsa as an app, and our waitress Kim had to twist our arm into the most amazing chocolate cake/brownie I have ever had. Service was impeccable, seriously, Kim was so sweet and personable. I can't wait to come back and try out everything! Usually great but not this time. 2 burgers ordered "medium" hoping for medium well. Nope, well done. Had to send back the Father's day special which was 2, four ounce filets with bourban cream. Ordered medium and came back well done just like the burgers. Had to send it back and it did come back medium. Regardless, it wasn't a good entre and was more like filet with pot roast gravy. Really!?? You guys can do better than that. The baked potato was dry and in line with the filet and burgers. $85 for a few kids meals, burgers, and a late add-on shrimp tacos to replace the "Father's day" filet special. Also had great food at Hunters north and south but the legacy takeover needs to retrain the cooks or management. Next time we'll just go to steak n shake or Culver's and pay half price. Judge...

Had reservations at 1:00 for Mother's day brunch. Now note, I said "brunch" right. First thing that went wrong was they got our reservation wrong. Not enough tables were reserved for our planned group. Second, they ran out of the "brunch" part. Only regular menu was being served. Now, mind you, they were only allowing people with reservations in that day. Would it not make sense to have an adequate amount of food available if in fact you know how many are attending! They separated our party, which was not acceptable. It was Mothers day!!!!! We wanted to be together. When we asked for the manager we were told by our waitress, there was nothing they could do. None of us were pleased with this. We will not be returning and we hope others had better service...
