7 Brew Coffee — Restaurant in Lafayette

When 7Brew first came to lafayette, I went on opening day and didn't like my drinks. My 2 favorites shops locally are JL Hufford & Java Joz (also Copper Moon b4 the new owners messed it all up). About a month later, I gave it another shot and tried a flavored energy drinks. It was AMAZING!!! Reeled me back in! Then someone online shared a 2 page "secret menu", so I tried a different iced coffee. To this day, it's the 3rd best iced coffee drink I've EVER HAD! Now, my wife and I are regulars and they always hook us up when we come thru. I was going to rate a 4.5 but there's no option so I rated them a 5. The only gripe I have is sometimes I have to wait 10-15 mins to place/get my order, but that's rare. Also, it can be expensive too. My wife gets a large strawberry energy every night before work and it's $8.08 after tax. N if u want no ice they won't fill it up. U have to ask for no ice & "filled" n they'll fill it, but its an extra like $3. I usually ask for light ice and show them with my fingers around 2 inches, cus "light ice" to them is half a cup. Other than that I LOVE IT! Side note: the reason I didn't like it at first was I like sweet iced coffee drinks, and they make it regularly bitterish. When I tried it again, I found out u can customize ANY drink. So i asked for extra sweetner, an extra flavor shot, and the cup lined with whatever flavor drink u get and it usually does the trick! Don't Waste Your Time Or Money! Go To Starbucks! Yesterday I visited this coffee shop and got a Medium Salted Caramel Iced Coffee. I liked it! The young lady's customer service was good, service was quick and efficient, and my coffee was delicious. I returned today and ordered a Large Salted Caramel Iced Coffee. A young man took my order, and a young lady returned with a large cup of hot coffee. I informed her that I ordered a Large Salted Caramel Iced Coffee. She took the hot coffee back and returned with what looked like a large cup of black coffee on ice 😫. I guess she seen the confusion and frustration on my face, and asked me what exactly did I want. I told her I wanted a Large Salted Caramel Iced Coffee. She asked me what did it look like and I pointed to a drink that resembled it. She then informed me that she took my order yesterday, and asked if I wanted what I had ordered yesterday. I said yes. She proceeded to tell me that the drink that I had was called a Breve and to ask for that instead so that the other servers know what I am talking about. She left and went and returned with a watered down version of the drink that I ordered. It looked like it had been sitting there the entire duration of the exchange. A fresh drink does not have melted ice and condensation on the cup. STARBUCKS IT IS FROM NOW ON!!! I WILL GLADLY CONTINUE TO PAY MY $6+ 4-7 DAYS PER WEEK! You get what you pay for. My Medium/Large Caramel Iced Coffee will be made correctly every time, so my time nor my money...

Visited the 7Brew on sagamore pkwy south at the mall on Sunday 14th and Monday 15th. The service was ridiculous! On Sunday there were 4 girls hanging out in the back of the store while customers sat in line and only one girl made drinks and took orders. This was at 7:10 am. It took 18 minutes to get my drink and I was in the front of the line! On Sunday the 15th 2-3 girls stood visiting with a girl in a car at the front of the line while customers sat and waited. Took 8-10 minutes to get my order even taken. Many times while sitting in the line the workers are not paying attention to who pulls up first and how long some one has waited before another car pulls up. Both days and MANY other days I have sat and waited while they have helped another line of cars then came to mine after I was sitting there waiting before the others even pulled up. They are goofing off and not paying attention to their customers. I will NOT go to this store again. South street/state road 26 is...
