Legends Pub — Restaurant in Lafayette

Usually I'm not a fan of chains, even if they're local. There are, however, exceptions to every rule. Legends in Lafayette is probably the best incarnation of that rule of exceptions. Drinks are reasonably priced (and even too good to be true during the various happy hours), the ambiance is pleasing, and the service is top notch with an appropriate amount of "no-no sense" with an air of southern friendliness, and convenience of location. The kaliste saloom locale embodies everything great about a local bar despite being a link in a chain. I had an excellent experience with Ashley, the bartender who provided my drinks during her shift. She provided great service, excellent drink selections, fantastic conversation, and embodied all the care for her job that one would hope to see someone hold for their job. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 out of 5 stars This particular Legend location is one of the quieter spots, which makes it the perfect go-to on a Tuesday night — especially for karaoke. That’s hands down my favorite night of the week here. The atmosphere is laid-back, the crowd is friendly, and the whole vibe just works.

The reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 comes down to the food — specifically the burgers. They’re always cooked well done, which tends to leave the patties a bit dry. There was a time when the food at Legend’s was something people really talked about, but lately it just hasn’t hit the same.

Still, for a chill hangout with a mic in your hand and good company around, this place is solid. Just don’t come expecting the burger to be the star...

This is my favorite bar to come to. They have karaoke nights on Tuesdays which is my favorite day of the week to go. Their Margaritas are a very good deal and not weak at all. Kings of karaoke does the karaoke there and they are the best karaoke in the area. Definitely worth it to check out if you want to have a couple of beers or drinks with some friends and are stopping by...
