Ton's Downtown Lafayette — Restaurant in Lafayette

We went on a Saturday morning around 9:45am. We had never been and went inside and sat down. The front of house staff were very kind and I think took notice we had never been, as they brought us menus but let us know that we order at the counter to the side. We then noticed a very visible sign that says "order here". Again, the staff were genuinely kind and did not make us feel silly from the start. We had a toddler and stroller (that folded up) with us, and still fit nicely inside without encroaching on anyone's space. I would say if it's busy, there is limited seating. However, we must have gotten there at a great time. As there were only a couple of people at the bar and a few booths taken.

The breakfast was delicious! We ordered the chicken biscuit (and got it with honey), as well as the double stack of pancakes (SO FULFFY AND PERFECT) and the breakfast potatoes (I might add these had some spice and kick to them, but were wonderful). Great Downtown Lafayette spot! My family and I meet at Ton's every Wednesday morning for breakfast (I make more visits throughout the week). We love that Ton's opens early enough for our family to have time together before we all go to work. There is plenty of off-street parking with their private lot right next to the restaurant. My mother has accessibility issues, so having a close spot is nice. The quality of the food is always high and the service by their team of friendly servers and cooks makes our experience much more meaningful. The variety of items always satisfies, whether I'm keeping it light with coffee and fresh pressed juice, or filling up with the vegan burrito. We always feel taken care of when we go to Ton's.
