When it comes to Persian food, this is by far one of my favorite restaurants in OC.
I have almost tried everything on the menu and have never been disappointed or disliked a dish.
Definitely try Ghorme sabzi and boneless chicken Kabab dark meat.
The portions are Texas-style, so be prepared to eat a big meal! The kabob dishes come with a humongous rice portion, so if you order one combo dish of two meats or a family order instead of two separate dishes, you’ll pay less for the same amount of food.
And they have freshly made warm bread.
Call in to check their hours; sometimes they stay open longer. The location is a bit hidden, the first time, I had a little bit of a hard time finding it.
The restaurant has a large sitting area and, on certain days, live music. The dress code is more casual. The staff is very nice and friendly.
They do cater for parties, and the amount of food you get for the price is mind-blowing.
This is it if you're looking for authentic and delicious Persian food!
I highly recommend this place! I would eat there every day...
Read moreThe place is so dirty. The don’t even have any air conditioning on which makes it a nightmare during hot weathers like today. The koobideb kabob is so awful. It would break to pieces when touched, tasted very bad and had lots of fat that would make your stomach sick. The kabob was also burnt which had a tremendous effect on the taste. The rice is not fully cooked, was so hard and tasted so bad. Even the grilled tomatoes in the food had gone bad already. They have no idea what customer service looks like. There’s always no one around when you need something and you literally have to walk around the restaurant, find someone and let them know what you need. The whole experience was terrible and I’m not coming back here again. They’ve lost me and my whole family as a customer and I recommend all of you to not waste your...
Read moreMy husband and I drove to California from Portland, OR. We came to this restaurant by chance and had an absolutely amazing experience! The owner, Ali, was so friendly, welcoming, and kind. He did everything possible and took the extra mile to make sure we were well served. The food was absolutely delicious!! The different types of chicken kabobs (which is what we ordered) were one of the best we've ever had -- even better than popular Persian restaurants in California (we've tried them all over the years). The restaurant offers fresh Tafdoon bread that is made hot and fresh in the restaurant's Tanoor oven. The restaurant also offers free unlimited tea, as well, which was wonderful! Great quality food, great service, and absolutely delicious! We will be...
