Been going to Kings for 20 years now. The food & service was always exceptional UNTIL this past Friday night when I sat at the bar waiting for my friend. I ordered what I've always ordered which was mussels with spicy sausage with the insane bready for dipping in the sauce. First, ALL Bartenders had major attitudes, not 1 ever smiled except MAX. The main bartender looked like he was going to punch people, Major Major attitude. He knew I was expecting my appetizer because the other bartender set me up to recieve food. Attitude dude grabs my credit card that was in a glass infront of me & says "CLOSE OUT YOUR TAB"? I say dude, Im getting ready for my food why would I close out my tab". That enraged this guy. My mussels come now & they are on ICE. I tell the other bartender this isn't what I ordered & that for 20 yrs I always get mussels with the spicy sauce for dipping. He says they don't sell that. Now I have to ask for the manager, her name was Kelly & she was amazing. I told her what happened & I said watch all your Bartenders & look at there faces, all angry looks, nobody except 1 has ever a smile, they obviously hate their jobs & I would never ever hire Bartenders of all people that are supposed to be super friendly & very attentive to EVERY customer as these angry young men. Kelly said she will raise this issue at the next staff meeting and immediately brought me my mussels with spicy dipping sauce. I guess this dish is not on the menu but you can special order it. At least Kelly was incredibly nice & helpful & I can't thank her enough. Now my friend shows up & I began to tell my friend about the Bartenders serious attitude & the main bartender who looks like he's going to punch everyone in the face overheard my conversation with my friend as I used the "F'" word to my friend. Well this dude got all butter hurt & immediately went to the General Manager to complain about me saying the F word to my friend at his bar. The GM came over & told me I can't say the F word to my friend at their bar. I said o.k . WOW. I tipped max $20 bucks for smiling & trying to be nice & thanked Kelly for her being so nice & my friend & I finished & left. That main bartender should be FIRED, He is in the wrong JOB as being a bartender requires a smile on your face & treating customers with respect at all times, NOT having a vicious attitude & totally hating your job because IT SHOWS ! Go to Kings yourselves & sit at the bar, and you tell me what you see,...

I would like to begin by saying what an exceptional fine dining experience my family and I had last night. From start to finish, the service and attention to detail exceeded our expectations, and several aspects truly stood out.

Upon our arrival, we requested to be seated outdoors. Despite no other guests being seated outside, the manager, Trevor, promptly accommodated our request without hesitation. He personally ensured our table was set up immediately. Trevor’s professionalism, friendliness, and commitment to creating a welcoming environment were remarkable, and he ensured all our needs were met throughout the evening.

Our server, Skylar, also deserves special recognition. She was kind, attentive, and incredibly patient as my wife and I deliberated over the menu. Her recommendations, coupled with her own insights into the dishes, were greatly appreciated. My wife opted for the poke, while I chose the Cajun tilapia accompanied by several sides, including the standout Brussels sprouts, quite possibly the best I have ever tasted.

In addition, my wife enjoyed one of their signature cocktails, the “Pacific Avenue.” The drink was perfectly balanced, smooth, and complemented our meal wonderfully.

The restaurant also went above and beyond in accommodating our 3-year-old daughter. They provided her with a King’s sippy cup (which she was thrilled to take home), a coloring book, and temporary tattoos, ensuring she had an enjoyable and engaging experience.

The house hot sauce, conveniently available at the table, was so good that I purchased a bottle to take home. We concluded the evening with their butter cake, topped with homemade vanilla bean ice cream. It was the perfect finale to an outstanding meal.

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking exceptional seafood and excellent service. It is rare to find a dining establishment that truly makes you feel valued, and this restaurant achieves that effortlessly.

If I were to offer a suggestion for improvement, it would be to introduce branded t-shirts for purchase. As a frequent patron of outstanding restaurants, I enjoy buying merchandise to remember the experience, and I believe others would feel the same.
