Have ordered pizza from this Lake Street location countless times over many years with no issues.
Today I saw that they have an advertisement on their website for a 50% discount on all pizzas ordered online. I clicked on the "order now" on the "50% off all pizzas at menu price" and ordered two medium specialty pizzas.
When we got to the store to pick it up, we were told that I supposedly did not click on the coupon or something, and we were expected to pay full price.
Perhaps this was merely a glitch, or perhaps something more nefarious is afoot. The coupon said "50% off all pizzas at menu price" for online orders. It said nothing about any special qualifiers other than that it only applied to online orders. I was not prompted to do anything else after I clicked on the "order now" button on the "50% off all pizzas at menu price" advertisement on the website.
If I needed to do more than click the "order now" on the "50% off all pizzas at menu price" to get the discount, Domino's needs to make that clear and have some sort of very obvious and simple path to doing so.
Consumers in general are very busy these days, and also are unlikely to haggle with an establishment when they expect one thing and are given something less than what they expected. After some negotiation, we were given a $10 discount on the two pizzas - but this was less than the 50% off we were entitled to.
Fortunately for Domino's, people are not going to bother to sue them over being given a $10 discount when they were entitled to a discount closer to $20. I would imagine that this will happen quite a bit over the next week that the special is supposed to run.

The first of these two times I waited 2 hours and then had to go pick up my order and it was dried out. The staff was a bit rude when I asked what the hold up was and seemed a bit irritated when they informed me they were busy. I had used the online ordering which gives a timeframe and so I suggested that they give folks a call to let them know it's going to be much much longer than estimated. I let it slide. Last week I ordered again as I was super busy and had no time to fix my dinner. Used the online ordering again and paid with a card. I ordered at 915 and it said my order left the store at 940. I live only a couple miles from the place. At 1040 I called and they tell me it's out for delivery. I called again at 11 and they tell me again that it is out for delivery. At 1150 I call again to cancel the order since I had not received my food and had to leave. At this time I was told that the driver had been in an accident. First question would be where is the communication between driver and store. The employee I spoke with apologized and told me there would be an equal valued credit to my account for future use. Ok cool I'll give them another go. I called back this evening to cash in and they informed me there was no such credit on file. Read moreI tried to order pizza from dominos tonight at 10:16pm on Lake St. In Lake Charles,La and I always order cheesy bread with extra cheese right …the lady (SO TO SAY MANAGER) tells me I can’t get extra cheese then I said I’m sorry I’ve been ordering it like that since last year how come I can’t get extra cheese on it. She then says we’ll they aren’t doing it right then because there’s no way to do that 🤨. So I proceed to say okay so I can’t get extra cheese on “CHEESY BREAD” she replies WELL YOU CAN GO ORDER SOMEWHERE ELSE BECAUSE NOW IM NOT TAKING YOUR ORDER AND HANGS UP IN MY FACE 😒. At this point I get made so I call back and ask her for the manager she says “Um I am the manager” so I said well excuse me you don’t have to hang up in my face she says “well you were yelling at me I said ma’am you clearly heard me talking in a regular voice“ then she says well now your yelling at me I said OF COURSE BECAUSE YOU JUST DISRESPECTED AND HUNG UP IN MY FACE! because like excuse me the polite thing to say was “I’m sorry” I just can’t ring that up like that or something else polite. When she first answered the phone she sound like she had an attitude already I ignored it!! and tried to continue with my order but she just continued to be rude!
