GOLDEN HOOKS SEAFOOD HWY 14 — Restaurant in Lake Charles

I decided to try this new restaurant here in my hometown of Lake Charles, la., called Golden Hooks on Hwy 14. So I went place my order at drive thru window Which I then ordered a # 4, and (2) # 1’s one of the orders I substituted for onion rings. Therefore the food was hot and everything on my # 1 plate look very good once I opened the box the food looked fresh and all but the taste was deceiving to me. I ate a piece of the fish no seasoning at all very bland and the shrimp had absolutely no flavor whatsoever but I will never eat at this location again. I work to hard for my money every day. I was excited to try this new place, the pictures online looked really good! Was craving some shrimp and wanted to try the chicken tenders too, why not, ordered a #12. When i opened my food, everything was hot and seemed fresh. i was confused why my tenders had black coloring around them, they werent burnt. My fries had the weirdest taste, maybe a bad batch?? This used to be my go to place for very good seafood at a reasonable price. Why do places start to change and scale back on not only quality of food but also food portions. Now, the fish portions are so small they are too crispy and fried in too much meal. The shrimp are obviously smaller than what they used to serve and the seasoning bland, but guess what, the smaller portions are not reflected in a lower price.
