We live in Moss Bluff and like to do business here but we have issue after issue with this sonic. They double fry the onion rings which then leaves them greasy and falling apart. We have complained to the manager several time and although they always say they don't fry twice they along with the Westlake sonic are the only ones whose onion rings are poor. But onion rings are not the only issue. It's staff training issues as well. For instance, I went by today for a black cherry drink that was advertised on there menu. What I got looked nothing like the picture on the menu board so I asked the carhop (Ali) and she looked at the receipt and said yes that is what I got. The one on the menu was red the one they brought me is a dark yellow. So after I paid her and she quickly handed me the receipt and she walked away, I see the receipt says frozen tea add blackberry. I realize that black cherry and blackberry sound a lot alike but these are two totally different drinks. And once I brought it to Ali's attention she should have at the very least checked it out. Honestly, this is just one of many poorly trained staff members. Just so you know although I go to sonic quite a bit, we really do try to avoid the one in Moss Bluff...its just so maddening because it's the closest...
Read moreOn 7/27/25, we ordered two ice creams from Sonic through the app—one hot fudge sundae with Oreo pieces and one peanut butter Reese’s blast. The app told us our order would be ready by 6:17 PM. We checked in as instructed and then waited… and waited. Other people were pulling in, placing mobile orders, and getting served before us.
After 22 minutes, we tried calling the store—no answer. So I walked up to the door and looked inside, and guess what? Our ice cream had been sitting on the counter melting the whole time. When I asked about it, the guy looked at me like I was crazy and asked if I was sure I ordered anything. I told him yes, and that we had checked in, and he acted like he had no idea. I told him I just wanted our ice cream, and he said they’d bring it out.
Almost 10 minutes later, they finally did—but it was the same melted ice cream. No apology, no offer to remake it, nothing. Just pathetic.

Read moreAs someone who was just set free from a fast food job I understand what it’s like to be understaffed and busy. But today was just ridiculous. I had ordered a rt 44 cherry sprite for myself, then made another order for some tots because my mom had asked me to. My sprite was brought out rather quickly by a nice guy. He promised my tots would be out soon and went on his way. So I waited, app said they’d be ready by 4:26. I waited and waited, watching as everyone else came and went with their mobile orders. Finally had to shout of my window to get anyone’s attention (second time I’ve had to do so at this location) explained the situation to the girl. She still couldn’t find my order. Another 20 minutes go by and the tots are finally brought out by a completely different girl. I don't understand why you see one cat sitting there for x amount of time and don’t question it.
